Ok...now it is time to figure out which bowl will we go to...
Do we hold out for the Car Care Bowl, or just accept the first bid... 11/29/2008 3:31:20 PM |

I think DC also.. they already have Navy coming so that should be good for the local people. Maryland vs. Navy would be interesting I guess, but loses any type of regional appeal outside of the state and the fans of those teams. NCSU vs. Navy has some storyline to it, and would draw a broad range of interest especially for a first time bowl game. 11/29/2008 3:35:23 PM |

Awesome game, awesome end to the season. 4 games after the break, 4 wins. Now our guys have another 3 weeks to a month to practice and get more reps together, which can only benefit the team. 11/29/2008 3:36:33 PM |

We want Wake to lose, or we'll be competing with Clemson for one of the acc bowls, I think. If Clemson was chosen over us, we'd have to hope the other conferences left enough spots open for us.
NBC is projecting us in the Eaglebank, and leaving Clemson out completely. CBS is projecting Clemson in an ACC bowl, and leaving us out. 11/29/2008 3:38:47 PM |

We travel well and bowl committees know this...maybe we can skip over some teams with better records like we did over BC a few years ago. 11/29/2008 3:39:20 PM |

The Independance Bowl and Texas Bowl might have just found the two teams they're looking for. Virginia, NC State AND Clemson are all one half closer to bowl eligibility right now.:

I think if given the chance, any bowl would pick us over UNC right now, haha.
If T. Lewis is back and healthy for Duke I think they can upset UNC. 11/29/2008 3:56:16 PM |

If we can keep the O rolling next season like we have it going right now and let the D get a little older and healthier, we can be dangerous. And please let Nate make the right choice and come back for another year.
The future is looking really bright right now. 11/29/2008 4:55:11 PM |

I've got to say that Miami has some fast linebackers. Their running backs, James and Cooper, will also likely be in the NFL sometime in the future. Also their tight end, Epps, was pretty good as well. Make no mistake about it this Miami team has some talent. I'm glad we don't have to face them again for a few years as they'll likely be one of the main contenders for the Coastal next season. 11/29/2008 5:18:56 PM |

A "thanks!" to Andre Brown and the other seniors, a "happy birthday" to Russell Wilson, & a "job well done" to Czajkowski (GOT to give him his props) , Irving, Gray, Eugene, Graham, and the rest. As of now, Spencer's redeemed. Don't fail me now.
Quote : | "where can i find the clip of the kicker hunting down the return guy and teaching him a lesson?" | That was nice. Didn't he make a tackle on his previous kick?
Also, SFN has an article about the season that includes such interesting tid-bits as: [The Pack is the first team in ACC history to start 0-4 in conference play, and still finish at .500. The 4-game ACC win-streak is NCSU's longest since '92.]
