So I finished "Parks and Recreation" on Netflix. I had assumed that was the entire series as the last episode posted (the Unity music festival) really felt like a series finale. Reading this thread shows me that I was wrong, though. I really am surprised that they kept things going after the future jump as I thought the ending was perfect.

I feel like they could have at least faked Andy and April in the same room somehow for at least one shot, especially since some of the characters were using virtual backgrounds anyways.

It starts to hit its stride in season 2. Felt that way when I watched it when it was broadcast on NBC.

Season 1 you can tell they didn't like where it was headed, and changed the Knope character at Amy's request.

Agreed with many posts after my last one. It def got better. On s4e18 now. So glad when Ron was like can I have 3rd steak. And rob lowe is all like “want to land kayak” and she says no. Then ron says “want to get an omelette”, and lady is like how bout lets go to my place. He like totally didn’t give a fuck and got the woman. He likes tall brunettes she is perfect
