1... you have to win that game. They were lucky to even be in it with the 2 misses at the end.

2... what's up with jarred jacks move to draw the foul from 3? i don't see that being called in college. jack had the ball down by the floor with felton having a hand right at the ball. And all of a sudden (with no real intention of making a shot) jack lifts his arms through felton, initiating the contact and going to the line for 3? wtf is that?

2) It's a somewhat cheap, yet heady, move by Jack there and lazy defense by Felton. If Felton has his arm straight out and into Jack's body in an attempt to check him, it is real easy to just come up and rake across his arms to get the shooting foul. He shouldn't have fallen for it twice though.

Suns play @ the Bulls tonight. We really, really need a PHX win. I'd hate to have it come down to the last game or two for us to secure a playoff spot and then somehow blow it.

I know we've beat the Cavs a few times and it would be cool to see Lebron in the playoffs, but I'd rather see a team that we can actually beat and advance a little bit.

No way the NBA lets Lebron and Co. get beat by the Bobcats in the first round of the playoffs. They need those ratings too much for that to happen.

We have absolutely no shot against the Magic. We'll lose in 4 or 5 games in dull borderline blowouts.

Id rather take a shot at the Cavs. I'm fairly confident the series would go 6-7 games and we'd be competitive night in and night out.

I'd rather have a shot at the biggest upset in NBA history than an impossible to win series.

Even if we had a chance against Orlando (we don't) you dont think the league wants Orl-Cle again?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to watch a Cavs/Bobcats series but we will not be winning Game 7 if it ever got that far.

We're currently 2 games back of the Bucks and 1.5 back of the Heat with the clinch # at 5.

Crucial 2 games on a back to back coming up tomorrow with the Bucks at home and then @ Chicago Sat.

If they have any hope of jumping in that 5th seed to get ATL these are must wins.

Clinch # at 4 right now and would go to 2 with a win in Chicago tonight.

In the standings, we're 1 back of the Bucks and 1.5 back of Miami in 5th place currently. The Heat play @ the Wolves tonight, while the Bucks play at home vs PHX.

They'll surely be facing a fired up team and crowd in Chicago tonight knowing that this is a must win to keep the Bulls in the playoff hunt. The Bobcats came up big last night minus their head coach, hopefully we can finish this back to back off right.

While Pierce gets a lot of help from all the quality surrounding him in Boston, he's still the one doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Finally, Dallas' Shawn Marion (-3.27) is part of the reason I could include Jason Kidd at shooting guard -- Marion often checks quick point guards and does a reasonable job of it, plus he's been extremely effective in guarding more traditional 3s like Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. Third team: Ron Artest, L.A. Lakers (-4.32) Artest isn't as quick as he used to be and struggles chasing players through screens, but he is impossible to post up against, has incredibly quick hands and plays as hard as anyone in the league. His arrival has made L.A. a better defensive team despite the implosion of its bench and the decline of point guard Derek Fisher, with the Lakers leading the league in defense for a big chunk of the season before a late-season slump sent them to their current sixth position. Second team: LeBron James, Cleveland (+0.46) James' on-court versus off-court numbers suffer in part because Cleveland's other two aces, Delonte West and Anderson Varejao, are usually on the court when he isn't. But he's been an equally big reason the Cavs are eighth in defensive efficiency despite working in the plodding Shaquille O'Neal and suffering several injuries along the way. His half-court help defense still could use improvement, but he's become a very good on-ball defender and a veritable human eraser against opponent fast breaks because of his chase-down speed. And as for posting him up, forget about it. You'll have better luck trying to back down an 18-wheeler. First team: Gerald Wallace, Charlotte (+0.19) Sorry, LeBron. Wallace was the best defensive player on (at the moment) the best defensive team. One of the big changes under Larry Brown has been the conversion of Wallace from a gambling rover into a solid stay-at-home defender. He still impacts the game with his athleticism as sort of a poor man's Wade, playing passing lanes when opportunities strike and surprising bigger players with his shot-blocking, but now it's done in the confines of one of the league's most disciplined defenses. Additionally, few are better switching onto smaller players, and Wallace's versatility defending 2s, 3s and 4s gives Brown a lot of leeway in matchups. Wallace's +minus isn't great, but partly that's because of how the Bobcats play: All of Charlotte's starters have unimpressive +minus numbers, but as a group they play the vast majority of the minutes for the league's top-ranked club in defensive efficiency."

We made the playoffs by a wide margin. This team deserves a lot of credit for putting up a consistent effort all season long.

We had a "normal" amount of injuries but our ownership gave us replacements everytime someone went down.

Nazr definitely deserves a lot of credit for stepping up in Tyson Chandler's absence.


If we can win out we can face ATL/BOS instead of Orlando. I really hope we do that because it gives us a LEGIT shot at stealing the first round.

I will say that 30-9 (with 3 games to go) is the best record I've ever seen by a home team that wasn't a top seed. I hope Jordan is ballsy enough to leave this nucleus together for one more season.

I'm not even kidding. I have only seen 10-11 wins over the 6 years I've been watching the Bobcats. I am probably 10-60.

Part of this is that I watch much more often when we play real teams and avoid the dwellers.

Part of this is that I watched a lot of games our first 5 seasons.

Part of this is just unreal bad luck, i cant tell you how many times i tuned in to watch us blow a lead.

Tonight I tune in to a 26 pt lead and by the end of the quarter we are up 1.


What the fuck, should i watch the playoffs?
