We've asked Match.com for the stats on one night stands for iPhone and Blackberry users but have had no response. iPhoners are the most likely to date a co-worker, with nearly a quarter saying they had an office fling in the past five years, perhaps because they all work in graphic design and don't have any real work to do. BlackBerry owners are either more romantic or more decisive: with 67% of BlackBerry users say they have experienced love at first sight. Anyway, daters of all phone types like email and texting. Seventy-five per cent of the Canadian singles in this rigorous survey think their love lives have benefited from email and texting. Though obviously their love lives haven't benefited that much because they're still single. Just saying. Obviously high science was involved at all stages of the investigation: Kimberly Moffit - the Canadian psychotherapist-cum-"dating expert" that Match involved in the analysis of the survey – said that the results proved judging someone's character by their phone was even more reliable than looking at their star sign. She has a masters. “More so than zodiac signs or astrology, smart phones are the new way Canadian singles can decode their dating style and determine if they’ve met their match,” wrote Moffit. We've asked for more data but sadly Match hasn't been forthcoming. However, their Singles in America report will be out later today. "

Probably has to do with the fact that I'm pretty gay friendly and have answered yes to stuff like "should gay couples be allowed to adopt." My libertarian political leanings and live and let live social politics probably have something to do with it to.

Approximately 75% of my long term relationships have been with a woman who claimed to be bi.

I say "approximately" because that other 25% was only assumed to be fully straight. Never actually asked directly.

Maybe you people who are surprised by the bisexual population just never bothered to ask the women you met in real life. So now that they have the ability to write it in a profile it's all *shock*.

I moved to Michigan recently (Detroit area) and I'm thinking about getting back into the online dating thing in the next month or two. I did Match for a while and went out with one chick for about a month (she was pretty cool, actually a grad student at NCSU who is not on Tdub). I'm just not sure I'm ready to deal with the bullshit yet.

95% of the people that OKC matches me with are bi. On POF I've met a few chicks who were very openly bi.

okcupid freaked me out last night...

i was at a super bowl party in a town house...

i got a notification on my phone about some dude being nearby and asking if i wanted to meet up...i was a little weirded out about it...

then, as i was leaving, several guys were leaving the town house next to the one i was at...one of them was the guy from the notification...

he was probably less than 20 feet from me the entire night...

that's fucking weird...and WAY too stalkerish for my taste...

i'm going to remove that app because that's just creepy

So you enabled the notifications. You were weirded out from getting a notification, even before knowing this other information that he was next door.

i didn't know that was a feature...

i only use the mobile site to screw around on if i'm bored on the weekends when i'm at my parents' and have no internet...

also...i didn't know you could turn off notifications from the mobile site...

i have them all turned off from the website...

i am not technologically savvy
