They were talking about Rondo and Avery said. Hey Stew where did he play? And Stewart mumbled, yea yea 2000 wins.. ahahaha. Avery was needling Stewart Scott over which college team had the most wins. Not sure why he did that.. But it was funny. 5/13/2010 11:44:49 PM |

Its not Amare they will have to shut down though...its J Rich.
He is the key to that teams success.
Amare is a big part and Nash is too...but it got proven the other night that Nash is replaceable.

Shaq at this point in his career is a disruptive component to bring into playoff contender. He isn't going to make it healthy through the season for you, and having him on the floor (while he is still impact player) forces your team to completely adjust what you do to incorporate him for the playoffs. 5/14/2010 4:44:44 PM |

thank you. i've been saying that since they got him and how it assured they wouldn't win it all. You can't fast break with a clogged lane which is exactly what lebron needed to go off like he did in 07
every move the cavs made was a bad one.
jamison is good but not championship sidekick material. he's no scottie pippen. bringing back ilgauskus to sit on the bench was downright retarded. 5/14/2010 5:48:30 PM |

Wait, wut??
Dragic is about as solid a backup PG you're going to find in the NBA right now, but he's not even close to replacing Steve Nash. Maybe in two years. Watch the other games instead of just highlights of the one where Dragic goes bonkers.5/15/2010 10:11:29 AM |

The celtics are a tough matchup for orlando. Perk can guard howard without much help and garnett can offer help over the top. Pierce can probably lock up vince and rondo can lock up jameer. This is going to put a lot of pressure on orlandos supporting cast to step up and make shots.
The matchups are weird though, how does orlando defend a revived garnett? Not with rashard lewis... Barnes/gortat? Howard?
Who does ray allen guard? The celts will probably be better off with tony allen in the game than ray for this series.
This will probably be a pretty low scoring series. The magic are on fire but the celts took them 7 without garnett last year. Both teams have improved considerably.
The celtics have no depth and the magic have a ton that is basically their only real advantage other than the obvious 3pt shooting ability.
I could see boston in 6 or 7 or magic in 7. Any other outcome seems unlikely.
I like the magic today with their rest against bostons older legs but after that may hedge with boston to win the series. Orlando started off a ridiculously overpriced -280 to win the series. 5/16/2010 9:56:21 AM |

I'm saying Orlando in 6 or 7, they're at their prime right now and half of Boston's lineup needs to be traded to Phoenix, where the NBA goes to die. 5/16/2010 12:10:26 PM |

I used to like KG when he was in Minnesota but now I hate him...I've hated Allen since he crushed my dreams when the Hornets were 1 win from the Eastern Conference finals and he went all "Ray Allen" on the Hornets...ftr I also hate Sam Cassell and Glenn Robinson
But I completely despise Orlando...Redick and Carter for starters...plus Van Gundy...and Howard's constant whining

I am having a hard time liking Ray Allen nowadays too. Anytime someone puts on that Boston jersey I automatically hate them. I do still like Rondo, just because he seems like a quiet, humble dude, but it probably wont be long before he starts to get cocky just like KG and Pierce's punkass'
