o-line doesn't deserve that much heat. Glennon has to get rid of the ball sooner. it would have been nice if we had a running game up the middle, but that's been the story all season

and fuck no to richrod. or any coach other than o'brien next season.

get rid of it sooner to where? They were dropping 8 the whole game and getting to glennon with a 3 man rush. Our receivers can't get open initially and our o-line can't give glennon time enough to hit any receivers if they actually could beat a man.

One of my biggest pet peeves rears its head at the end of the game. A team down by less than a score, with >1 min left and the opponent gets in the victory formation and not trying to get the football back.

if a team is in the victory formation, get a small, quick guy with good hands (DB or WR) to line up directly in front of the center and dive for the QB-center exchange as soon as the center snaps it. have 2 of your best D-linemen line up just outside that guy and blow up the center as soon as he snaps it. AT LEAST TRY SOMETHING!!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

maybe we could line up someone in the backfield, between the qb and center, and when they snap it take the ball and/or smash the qb...we'll get a penalty, but maybe the other team will mess up and accidentally decline it

Offensive line proved that they are a bunch of fat pussies. Pretty sure the coaches don't tell you to allow an inside bull rush through every few plays. Pretty obvious they got cocky after pushing UNC around and came out flat and didn't recover. Good job by the defense to take a stand in the second half and give the offense a chance. Disappointing loss, but calm the fuck down guys.

^^^this, Our O-line play is what I'm most disappointed in under O'Brien. I thought under Chuck all we really lacked (in order to be fairly competitive in the ACC) was a consistent O-line that could give us a decent run game and give enough time for our mediocre Qbs to make a few plays a game.

I just haven't seen that. I am disappoint.

That play was seemingly their only big play and CJ got beat so bad.

We lost to a team that had 190 yards of offense......

I was having flashback all game to when Noel Mazzone was the O-coordinator. All we ran was that lame bubble screen along the line of scrimmage to the WR's. Our receivers must suck this year because we never throw down the field.

^It seemed like we had more success going deep earlier in the season. Relatively speaking...we still weren't doing it often nor were we overly successful.

To be fair, our offensive line hasn't protected long enough to throw intermediate routes, let alone deep ones. I do think we should run some waggle plays to move the pocket and give time for deep routes to develop...like a backside post to TJ Graham or Palmer.
