I think tihs album is going to be a lot better than The Great Misdirect and honestly seems like a more logical progression from Colors. TGM was OK but really felt like an attempt to make another album just like Colors instead of moving past that which is weird because previously all of their albums have had a unique sound/feel while still remaining clearly BTBAM. I basically view TGM as a Colors B-Sides album (which makes no sense story-wise but it does sound-wise).
