That last call in the Boston Philly game on KG was a very good call. Look at the replay. He lunged at the guy twice, dropped his shoulder and stepped in to him. I'm not saying that doesn't happen a few times a game, but not to that measure. Just because it's the last shot of the game doesn't mean you can chop block a defender. 5/14/2012 10:42:32 PM |

I thought that Kobe gave the lakers a few good minutes when they got down 30. The lakers look REALLY competitive.
God I hope they get swept again so all the Kobe lovers have to pretend to forget another season.
Also Kobe is a really clutch shooter in the 4th quarter, its too bad they benched him for it 5/15/2012 12:36:11 AM |

2 man team is gonna be hard to win a series regardless of how good those 2 are.
I love how Wade flopped on that last layup causing him to miss. Its almost like Hill knew he was going to flop and moved away from him just before so it turned into a wave diving layup.
I love how Wade just layed there at the end looking at the ref.
I also love how Jones jumped straight up and Wades jumping kick shot missed the goal completely, then Wade just stands there and runs down and clotheslines Colllison on the next play, then points to the other side of the court when they call a flagrant.
I love it.
Best spent $15,000 ever. 5/15/2012 9:51:19 PM |

I hate to harp on it but yet another end of game where the leagues best player is second or third option. No one will say these things if he just takes shots in these situations. We realize even the best will miss them from time to time.
And if they survive the Pacers it's going to be very hard to win a title with the minutes Lebron/Wade are logging right now. 5/16/2012 8:02:37 AM |

^ totally agree. not sure if he's scared to miss, or scared of the wrath of D-Wade. Or just a pansy.
And while i can understand that Chalmers had a better look than Wade for the final shot, it's tough to expect someone to nail a clutch 3 when they haven't been involved in the offense the entire 4th quarter. I dunno. 5/16/2012 9:04:05 AM |

Good lord heat are in a little trouble if bosh doesn't come back.
Lebron 28 efficient points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals (!), 2 tunovers. That's a monster game, he really isn't capable of doing much more than that and they still lost at home. 5/16/2012 5:20:42 PM |

45% FG, 0% 3pt, 62% FT
how exactly were all 28 points efficient? i mean i know its Lebron and he can do no wrong in your eyes, but how does he shoot those percentages yet all his scoring is efficient?
and Bosh puts them in serious trouble? having two of the top 5 players in the world isnt enough to beat the Pacers?] 5/16/2012 5:24:11 PM |

I'm a lebron hater but he was pure greatness that game. Wade had a pretty good game also. Its just two great players, no matter how good they are still need a 3rd decent player and the entire team is crap. Battier is the 3rd best player right now and he's inconsistent. They have a bunch of guys that are capable of giving you 1 decent game per series. Thats just not gonna cut it. They need to unveil jones right about now.
Lebron said he is too tired to practice today lol WE TALKIN BOUT PRACTICE.
1 reason lebron might not be getting the ball late is that he hates going right. This is something I only started to notice against Dallas. When he gets the ball he always drives left. Its not that he has no right because he will go right if he is open or if someone lets him by head and shoulders but he never shoots going right on defense. last year in the finals down the stretch of a game he caught the ball with kidd on his back in the paint and passed it to the opposite corner because kidd sat on his left.
Teams are just going to send him right. I started watching it closely against NY and he was matched up with bibby one play and went right and airballed a layup. He has no confidence going right so at the end of the game he differs to Wade who knows he can flop in any direction.

They need Chalmers and Miller to hit buckets. I'll definitely disagree with face on Miller. They've been counting on that guy for the last two years and he fucking sucks (he at least had a decent regular season this year, but has been garbage the past two post seasons). They could have picked up SOMEBODY to hit some wide opens threes...which he gets plenty of them...and just clanks the fuck out of 'em. And I was surprised they didn't pick up a bigger body. I mean...you obviously don't need a Bynum or Howard when you have three All-Stars already on the team..but Turiaf, Anthony, and Haslem aren't going to get it done against Hibbert and any other centers they go up against.
Heat should still take this in 6...even without Bosh. And they could probably take Boston/Philly in 7 as well. But they will get blown out of the fucking water by OKC if they don't get Bosh back. I think they'll struggle against them even with him in the lineup. 5/16/2012 7:18:19 PM |
