You know what I like about watching us play versus a lot of the other teams playing?

Nobody is going to give us any excuses for how we play, as a result we aren't hearing about plantar fasciitis or fractured pinky fingers. I guarantee we have players who are dealing with some type of injury this far in the season, but it's not being broadcasted as a way out if we lose. I also like how we play as a team and share the basketball, we aren't relying on a single player to carry the team (UNC) in the last ~10 games at least.

I also really like calling out Obama, that is a classic NC State moment, one I will never forget seeing live. The media will probably report more on that one sentence than we have heard about all of UNC's current "troubles" (2 lawsuits (already lost one) and NCAA/SACS/Fed Investigations). I just hope Barber doesn't dwell on it too much and focuses on practice.

I hate UNC and would love for the ncaa to drop the hammer on them. But let's not act like their scandal hasn't been well reported in the news. And I think 99% of people know the Obama comment is obviously a joke about brackets and clearly not a political statement.

I still get chills watching the end of that game. We gave them a wide open 3 at the top of the key to win it with 14 seconds left, and they luckily bricked it instead.

UNC has been treated with kid gloves by the media. For God's sake if the same thing happened at FSU or Miami you wouldn't hear the end of it.

Don't get me wrong, overall I am still satisfied by the coverage of the whole thing.

My brother who is the eternal pessimist when it comes to State made a good point today...he said that down the stretch he really would have liked to see State push the ball to score more than just do a modified four corners.

Looking back, we did stumble a bit, albeit at the expense of Hilliard, but in the future I hope we continue to try to score instead of hold hold hold and shoot with a lead late.

I remember Ralston not quite getting his feet set in time, but definitely remember the Nova player going semi-horizontal. You rarely get rewarded with a blocking foul if you're damn near perpendicular to the ground based on contact that you initiated.

Damn right, if no one had "shit on" cat's play to begin with, he wouldn't be playing up to his potential now. Nothing wrong with calling guys out for pathetic performance. Cat was a mental hot mess for half of the season. If you can't see that and try to claim this as some sort of "gradual development", you are crazy.

I'm sick of Turners god damn olay fouls every time his man drives. He needs to learn how to set his feet and let the guy go around or make a play on the ball hard enough to prevent the layup. Much more simple than Cat's problems were.
