I'm really excited about harrow being our PG, but being only 6 foot and 160lbs I'm wondering how well he'll be able play defense in the ACC? There's really not much footage of him in that aspect.

eh, I wouldn't worry about his defensive skills too much...Ty Lawson never really played much defense aside from gambling for steals and it worked out pretty well for UNC.

Yeah, no way that Fowler gets rid of Lowe before his current contract runs out. He might not give him the extension, but he'll stay a few more years to get a chance to develop and show real improvement ...

Not like we are some perennial powerhouse or something ... we are just tired of sucking.

Glad to see some big names coming in though. That's definitely encouraging.

While I'm willing to give Lowe 2 years to see if things work out (barring winning less than, say, 13 games this year), the question still persists as to whether or not he can get all those players to play on the same page (see: 2 years ago when we had the core of the suprising 06-07 team totally crap it up with JJ Hickson and vice versa). Then again, this is the first time they'll be integrating a more proven pg.
