it's not all beers that cause it though. he can drink most light beers and be fine...tonight he had magic hat #9 and he's covered in hives. this is the 4th or 5th time its happened.

one of allie's friends is allergic to one of the grains in beer (wheat, barley, hops, I'm not sure which one) so she can only drink certain kinds of beer

fortunately for her, she doesnt get allergic to Jim Beam or Jack Daniels, so she usually is the drunkest one by the end of the night
