I walked about a mile in the snow/sand...that was a pretty big work out....I also carried a huge snow ball from the peir to my house...not sure why I did that, but my arms are feeling it now.

I have my bike trainer here, so I could ride that today and then run tomorrow once more of the snow has melted away. It's nice out and I'm predicting the snow goes away relatively quickly.

lat rows 2x12x45
side raises 1x20x10 ea. side
raised planks 1min
bosu pushups 1x20


felt kinda queasy after... did all that in about 30min, too fast for me

back on the treadmill today for a mile..... back and forth with running and walking. first time back running since i got hit


15 minutes eliptical
10 minutes bike
2x10 lunges
2x10 hanging leg lifts

hour on the treadmill at 7% incline. Steeper incline and slightly lower speeds seem to burn just as many calories and keep my heart rate about the same, but I found it easier to play video games this way.

^^i've noticed this too. Despite the fact it'll take you longer to go the same distance, as long as your heart rate is up where you want it to be, this is just as good as running right? i don't really know


today

3mi run...took me 33min. I'm slow. Trying to work my way into consistent 10min miles, hopefully in a couple of weeks ill have that reached. (525cals according to machine thingy)

10min abs
Xball
3x20x20lb medball crunches
1x12 ea. side oblique twists
3x1min oblique/crunch twist combo


10min bike cooldown (100 cals)


prob burned 600-800 calories today


gonna win it back in food.

so after my 25mi yesterday i played tennis for 2.5 hours bc the sun came out and i rode 35mi this morning

my body is sooooore

2 more workout days until vacation so i gotta get in everything i can

as far as cardiovascular health and fat burning goes, heart rate is the most important thing. the only reason to run is if you want to be a better runner.

Bought this today, joined up at the Y as well. Gonna seriously get on my Run M, W, F, then Swim and Bike T, H, S routine starting tomorrow. About to jump on the elliptical for an hour now.

haha my friend just called wanting to go for a ride in ab an hour. i had to decline.. my hands are sooo fucking sore. i think its a combo of the tennis & riding

i should go for a swim but its so cold outside!! its an indoor pool but i cant get in if im cold from being outside haha. stairclimber is brilliant, and i can finish my book!! thanks tdub

4x10 incline dumbell chest presses (50-80 lbs)

5x10 various cable chest presses

2x12 push-ups (1 set alternating medicine ball under each hand; other set lifting dumbells vertically at top)



then did 3x15 glute-ham sit-ups

then rowed 1 km

Chest, shoulder, and tris. I felt a lot stronger today than normal, which makes me think I'm overeating. I'm seriously contemplating taking calorie restriction to an extreme for the month of March while keeping my weight training and cardio the same.
