No, in Clue you actually find the murderer.

So Clue is nothing like this at all.

I skipped to 14:00. Wow. That lady sounds scared to death, guess it's a fear of being in the spotlight like that and dropping the harsh truth.

As a juror, I don't know how I could live with my decision after going back and seeing everything that I wasn't allowed to see thanks to Gessner

We probably won't see an appeal for a couple years.

And if your only reason for voting guilty was the Google search, that's pretty fucked up. I couldn't put a man in jail for life for a fucking Google search.

Not that hard to put it all on Gessner and the prosecution. If they are going to pervert the truth but present it as such then it's all on them.

So the tech guy pretty much told everyone else that the time stamp testimony from the defense was not applicable? Can you elaborate a little more on that point?

That's the feeling I got. I didn't ask much around that...we spent more time talking about what didn't get in, and what she read/watched after with regards to that. I did ask if anyone was technical. She said yes, one of the guys. I asked if it was the foreman and she said no. But she also talked about the FBI testimony where he said he didn't believe there was tampering even though he didn't have an explanation for the files having invalid timestamps. She was really bothered by that, but it didn't seem that the invalid timestamps were a big discussion point during deliberations. Really bothered by that but not enough to create even a hint of reasonable doubt.

Towards both points, if the images are of an max zoom on the very spot where the body was dumped (and that's my impression), I don't think house shopping/jogging paths can explain that. Seems like it's either 1)brad did it or 2)tampering.

i was under the impression that the the google map search was of his whole zip code, and the area where her body was found just happened to be part of one of the map "tiles" or whatever

edit:

"Evidence Brad Cooper is not guilty:
...
Google map on computer was there because it was within BC's zip code, not because he zoomed in on that area. The dump site tiles were at a very high altitude, not "curb level". Further, the map was dated. It just had dirt roads. Further, evidence showed those images were not accessed for more than 41 seconds."

Did they ever really establish that it was a full zoom? I thought it was just of the general subdivision

It wasn't a full zoom.

It was like looking at the entire town of Cary man.

Haha well I think we can all agree that the 'evidence' in question isn't THAT large

I remember hearing it was a zoomed in shot of the cul-de-sac on fielding drive, on the side of the cul-de-sac where her body was dumped. I'm not saying I think the evidence was valid or anything, just what it was: zoomed in shots of fielding drive (only). could have been brad, could have been planted intentionally, could have been cary pd being stupid and using his computer after it was in custody....I wasn't there, didn't watch that testimony, and haven't done any testing on my own so I can't comment on that [crucial] point. Only commenting on what images i heard were on his pc

In court, the prosecution said that when cooper entered zip code xxxxx, fielding drive was dead center. Which was total fucking bullshit, because we entered the zipcode, and fielding drive wasn't even in that zip.

Is my memory off, or did the time stamp from the google search match a time when Brad wasn't even in the office? I think I remember hearing that he was out to lunch during the time the search supposedly occurred.

Who knows how google maps would respond years ago...didn't the zip codes change or something anyway?? Who cares anyway, thats not the important bit.

The important bit is what does the evidence make it seem like he did after putting in a zip code. Did he just stare at the search results for 41 seconds or did he start panning and zooming? I was told it was the latter, and there were zoomed images of the cul-de-sac of fielding drive.

Pretty sure the supposed search happened when he was at work on his work computer, so I don't think Nancy was mapping out her jogging routes. Also I don't think she would need landmarks on an undeveloped cul-de-sac

webslueths timestamp explanation:

says last access time is always equal to create time in vista. i didn't think that was what they were talking about though.
