Thinking about how stupid my friend who got kicked out of their house is. They knew their parents would kick them out if they (20 years old) kept coming home drunk and stoned and kept failing the online course they were taking. Then when they're finally kicked out they act like everyone should feel terrible for them and be sympathetic.

Blows my mind that people can't see that there's a difference between terrible things happening to someone and someone causing themselves a terrible situation.
