^yeah, I understand it's not that big of a deal after seeing all the facts, and realizing that qntmfred is doing things "by the book" or whatnot, and is just fucking around

of course I realize that - how many times have I come on TWW to just have fun while I've been drunk with friends and all that jazz



but I'd say that maybe a handful of TWWers (and by TWWers, I mean the total TWW userbase), know what the hell is really going on with the technically correct "crazy code" and HTML

a rough "guesstimate," if you will, being somewhere in the neighborhood of 99.5%-99.7% (and that is a pretty lenient estimated range, IMO) of the 'TWW userbase':

I) have no idea who the hell qntmfred is,

and

II) have never even heard of him, at all, period.


so on a personal level, I have never given a shit about qntmfred,
never knew he existed,
never cared

and I'm almost certain that, unless you were among the handful of people on TWW that was on here "back in the day" (users that registered before me - you all know who you are, I'm pretty sure you will all come to the forefront at some point and call me out on this ), or are actually friends with him IRL (my assumption is that punchmonk is one of these friends, given the amount of useless drivel I've read of hers in passing in my threads):

these instances of "posting under other names" only occur in qntmfreds case IN THE THREAD WHERE IT BASICALLY SAYS "if you click my profile it will make a post in this thread"

and everyone knows the script i use only posts in THIS thread, and only posts "jackleg..."

they are harmless e-jokes that occur, not at random, but when our profiles are accessed... and it is clear to any user who sees them because there are only 2 threads they appear in, and there are 2 strings used.

PLUS, the posts only exist cause you guys are all up in our user info being nosy. "invading privacy" if you will
