I think i'm going to finally add all my cd's to my itunes. Ever since I got this computer I have been lazy with adding my cd's to iTunes. I just randomly reorganized my cd's and I realized I had some that I haven't heard in a while because I didn't put them on iTunes. 7/7/2010 1:37:34 PM |

sawahash when i add CDS to my itunes, some point down the line for some freakin reason it no longer recognizes any info about it aside from the track name
so basically it gets to the point where i cant listen to an album as an album on my ipod
i dont know how to correct it, except to maybe try to download it again but since ive put my cds on itunes i hadnt given a shit about the discs so the can hardly be read at this point
moral of the story is continue taking good care of your CDs 7/7/2010 2:44:09 PM |

I haven't been to the dentist since I got my wisdom teeth out in 2001. Went this morning and I was terrified at what they might find. No cavities, said my brushing and flossing was perfect, etc etc etc.

^^ i love how everyone is just so sure that will be worse than this
read the limitations and exclusions section of YOUR plan. you might be surprised. AND thank god i don't have any actual health problems or like nothing would be covered. and this isn't even the shittiest plan.
i am just going to wait until my dad gets home to decide because i really don't know.
^ YAY! yea i haven't had dental insurance in a HOT minute. like over a year.
really i just need vision (my eyesight is horrible and i wear contacts) and a low copay for prescriptions (cause i have 3, but apparently, one might no be covered cause it is a vitamin. what the fuck). i mean those are the 2 main things when looking at a plan. and i started with BCBS because that is what i just got kicked off of so i know all my doctors take it. i'd really rather not switch doctors. but damn. this is some bullshit.
i forgot how annoying insurance companies are. i haven't paid my own insurance since 2007 cause when i went back to school i got back on my dad's plan. SIGH

I know its family, and they got married and its a big deal blah blah, but with both the bride and groom being about 40 years old with good careers I felt kinda irked by giving them 200 Euros out of my pocket when I don't make that much in a week. Then I see

From a HR guy at a company I'm applying to:
Quote : | "Thanks for getting back in touch with me. How’s Belgium? I hope things are going well for you there.
I just forwarded your information out to one of the hiring managers here at [COMPANY] to get his thoughts. He is the most active of the mangers right now, so I know I’ll get quick feedback. As soon as I hear back, I’ll let you know his input. Thanks and have a good night." |
Sweet. Now, I'm wondering if I should reply with the generic
Quote : | "Belgium is going pretty well, the work is getting pretty interesting and I'm getting to see a lot of cool places. " |
or if I should actually be interesting and include:
Quote : | " I've also discovered that the world's best beer is brewed in Belgium, and is only available at the brewery itself and its store right next door. I think I'm going to have to visit and bring a few bottles back to the States, haha." |
and then a appreciation closing. Thoughts?7/7/2010 5:04:26 PM |

i think it is because something pretty fucking bad happened to me that i worry so much and it isn't about small stuff TRUST me. i worry about people health/money/jobs.
this is the last year of my life: mother, dead. uncle, aneurysm. father, 2 strokes (that all happened within 4 months). my mom and dad were hospitalized at the same time. and i withdrew from law school.
then i had a small break for like 6 months and my grandmother died almost exactly 1 year to the day of my mom.
so yea.
i have anxiety (like real diagnosed anxiety)
anyways, i wasn't worrying about it i was just stating that it is weird that he dislikes the randomest things. i mean it would be worrying i GUESS if i were in another city contemplating what my father was eating but since i moved back home and i'm trying to fix dinner for him and my brother it sort of matters. just a statement. i'm not sitting here worrying over what he eats (ok i actually DO worry over what he eats given his recent medical history and the fact that he has follow up doctors appointments like every week, which is why i'm fixing dinner because i guess i'd rather not lose another parent so i'm trying to keep us healthy)
so to me it isn't small. *shrug*

I had mentioned Belgium in my first email to him in this chain, so I'm sure its just a rhetorical deal. I figured if he was going to ask then I may as well say something interesting
I agree though, I might run the risk of him being a honorary member of MADD. I was thinking it could be something for him to read and be like "okay, another generic...wait, what?" but I'll just play it safe for now.
I just want something of substance to say other than just "yeah Europe's neat"

Its beer. Its not like you're smuggling handles of Everclear in your carry on.

Yeah, agreed. The company is pretty young and some of its propaganda says that it is a young, laid back company who gets the job done.
Hmm...little, uh, investigation reveals this guy graduated over 10 years ago. I'll skip it then
