benched 4 sets of 5 at 85lbs and did 1 set of 3 before i gave out (yes i'm a weakling)
3 sets of ten bicep isolation at 10lbs
3 sets of ten (don't know the name but where you hold the weight over your face and use your triceps) at 10lbs
20 lifts for my lower back
35 crunches
ran 2 laps around the track and nearly passed out

so all in all i'm still grossly out of shape but i'm trying

Ran half a mile til an elliptical machine opened up. Did that for about 30 min, then minimal weight training. I felt good afterwards though.

So yesterday I started eating well. Whole grains and limited fat intake. I'm exercising...round of basketball plus an hour or so in the gym. Then this morning...a big ass doughnut! I suck

Friday:
45 minutes of interval sprint/walk on the elliptical, sprint 2 min/ walk 3
5.08 miles, ~550 calories

chest: 3 sets of 24
back: 3 sets of 24
abs: 6 sets of 24

30 min shoot around


Saturday:
2 hours of basketball

Sunday:
2 hours of volleyball

Yesterday:
45 minutes of interval sprint/walk on the elliptical, sprint 2 min/ walk 3 for the first 30 minutes
then sprint 3 min/ walk 4 for the last 15 mins.
5.3 miles, 600 calories

shoulders, 3 sets of 24
bi's, 2 sets of 24
tri's, 2 sets of 24
legs, 6 sets of 24

then i made 100 3 pointers in 231 shots, gettin my own rebound, shooting at one end of the court
until i make it then going to the other goal and repeating
27 minutes, 10 seconds to complete

I've never used an elliptical. I do the same general HIIT that ^ you seem to do but on the treadmill. 2 min sprint/3 min walk. Is it more advantageous to use the elliptical as opposed to treadmill?

My general MWF workout is a small 50 calorie burn jog to start. Ab/oblique workout (3 sets of 35-40 of each exercise). Chest, bi, tri, upper back. Then HIIT on the treadmill to about 250 calories. Then 1-1.5 hours of hard basketball..

i dont know about more advantageous, but it certainly is not as hard on my knees

im just not a treadmill person

to me, the elliptical is like pedalling a bike standing up

my feet get numb sometimes but i can get past that

Taking the day off to gorge myself with pizza at happy hour and drink beer for the NCAA tourney game. Then tomorrow it's back to the rat race..

Yesterday:

75 calorie warmup jog.

3 sets of 15 chest
3 sets of 15 shoulders (fucking hurt)
3 sets of 15 bi
3 sets of 15 tri
3 sets of 40 abs

20 minutes on the elliptical with not as much calorie burn as 20 minutes on the tread. hated it. going to stick to treadmill.

1.5 hours hard basketball --> was quite a sight. the old form has returned

First run since Feb 11, and only my 3rd run since Jan 18 -- did 7.5 miles in about an hour flat. Followed it up with lots of pullups and chinups and then some more curl work on top of that.

Up until a few weeks ago I was only going one day a week without at least an hour on the ice, but recently it's been three or four. It sucks.

Yesterday, I went and played putt-putt and then went walking/running at the park for 45 minutes and then I played basketball. Then last night I did the elliptical for 60 minutes.

Training for BUD/S in January, so five days a week is:
-6 mile run
-700m swim w/o fins, 600m swim w/fins (increasing every week)
-pt on the weight room mats:
usually consists of 30-40 minutes of a mix of dips, pull-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, flutter kicks, leg
levers, etc.

never started the gym thing... cause i went once and felt like i was gonna die.

BUT i started a little running and situps on march 1

15 situps on march 1 - add one per day, and knock off 1 cig a day

41 today, missed a couple days.....

besides that, i walk a lot more and will be done smoking soon. plus i do PT for my back problems, back feels much better

once i get the smoking done, i'm gonna start the gym. but while im still smoking, i'll NEVER be able to have the willpower to stay with a gym

still nowhere near healthy but shits a lot different
