Staal drew a penalty in the first by diving. No biggie. Kevyn Adams had a no-kidding, hands-together dive in Game 2.

Canes played like shit on a stick tonight and still only lost by one on mostly special teams goals. I couldn't worry any less.

BTW, ben94gt, the delayed stick-holding minor they were going to call on Commodore when #4 was scored was totally a penalty. I'm more pissed that he was taking it anyway and still let Campbell get the stick out and the pass off. He should've grabbed him and made sure the puck didn't get away. *sigh*

I really don't think so. I wouldn't even have pulled Cam when they did, but Gerber played pretty fing fantastic, and the canes have a history of liking to change goalies to change things up a bit. I will be surprised if Gerber doesn't get the nod.

we played like shit 2nd period and end of 1st simple and plain, as i said before, even if refs fucked us (which i would have to agree with, not necessarily that they called penalties on us, but because they didn't call any on buffalo) we STILL did not PK, nor did we play offense. hell we were in our own zone for some of our powerplays for a lot of the time. series isn't over, but we HAVE to win the next one to maintain even the chance of still using home ice advantage to win the series

most teams would not have made the switch to cam after game 2 of the first series. It turned out to be a fantastic move, but it still took some guts. Now ward is starting to look a little shaky, why wouldn't you try to mix it up by switching back to the guy who earned you the #2 seed, who also happened to play fucking outstanding once he was put into game 3? and btw as a sabres fan, I definetly want ward in there, as I've said many times in this thread I think he's gonna be a super goalie, and the canes fans have a lot to look forward to, but at this point in time, as a buffalo fan I want him in the net.
