well, I don't deserve dilapidated classrooms, labs, and hillsborough street, but we seem to keep adding money to football and not to any of these other areas. don't you think we have a right to be upset if our investment isn't as sound as we had hoped/were promised?

TallyHo, I'm just arguing that the movement to rebuild the campus is coming completely from State bonds instead of from alumni who are putting much more money into the sports program. what if we recycled that money? I know that the biggest donors do a lot to help the school as well, and that the state has helped us a lot with bonds, but why is building a decent endowment so difficult for this university? .... sports?
