As a premium member on Packpride, I can tell you that everything being said is nothing more then speculation. Steve Williams has mentioned he heard that CHuck was told he had to win the UNC-CH game or his tenure would be over at State. I think it is pretty obvious that Lee Fowler has no intentions of firing CTC.

I've been on it for about 3 years too...and I've been skeptical ever since our 3-game skid at the end of Phil's junior year...which was heightened with his 7-5 senior year.

This is the most adamant I've been about it. The past couple of years have been disappointing....this year has been a DISGRACE. And I don't see why anyone can see room for improvement. And 6-5 seasons with Tire Bowls is not what I mean by improvement. I see that as our ceiling with Amato. And now that UNC has gone out and hired a big name...we need to get off our asses and do the same.
