big difference there...sprint/nextel pay billions to be the primary sponsor and to have all the rights therein. cingular/at&t are just with one owner.

nascar has to protect the brand of its lead sponsor. thats how they get the big money. when it was the winston cup, how many camel or marlboro sponsorships did you see zoomin around?

Well, unless I missed something the only options are 5 or 25. And I don't foresee him using the 25 since that was Ricky's car. So, since DEI won't turn over the 8...I guess the #5 it is! which is good because if DEI did turn over the 8, Hendrick would have to let either the 5 or 25 go. So, I guess that really is the best option.
