Ive set INTs on 0/0 and yet every pass that is the least bit off line is picked off.

What gives? Turnovers rule this game.

yea the interceptions are really gettin on my nerves, i have cpu's awareness and interceptions set to 0 on heisman, and yet they are still running backwards and jumping in reverse to grab some of these passes i deliver that look perfect...its made me shut the game off completey quite a few times now

I do that when I play too. Most online players get pissed when you win by taking a knee knowing the game is over.

The trucking/impact stick in this game is a little outta control.. but man is it fun


My absolute favorite play in the history of the franchise is now PA Rollout from the Ace Twin WR TE formation. Basically if you catch them in man and run it from the left hash you will find Ant Hill wide open in the flat. The strong safety tries to make the one on one tackle and gets trucked into next week. Hill rumbles down the feild for 20-30 more yards before the pursuit gets him.

i have to upload a play...it made me die laughing.

it was 4th down on my western michigan dynasty (up to 4 stars now) against notre dame and my kicker sucks so i ran a fake punt option. it's snapped and the guy with the ball starts tiptoeing straight ahead and i had no control over him...two defensive players run right by him and don't attempt to tackle him and he tiptoes for a 50 yard touchdown and runs all the way through the endzone towards the fans.

it was hilarious.

My first six games with State I had 5 passing TDs and 16 INTs... But my last five I've had 9 TDs and only 3 INTs. I have to really concentrate when I drop back though to avoid the rush and make good decisions. It's shockingly realistic in that respect. No coincidence I started the year 2-4 and am now 6-5..oh and I benched Beck's ass for Burke after 3 games...

Also, one more nice thing is that play action passes actually work. In past games I would get clobbered as soon as I made the fake. Now the defensive line actually bites and doesn't just roll my OL at the snap...

i've had good luck not throwing picks on crossing routes...also know the difference in tapping the pass button versus holding it down (tapping puts more arc/lob on the ball; holding pass is more of a bullet)

and of course if you've got single coverage just switch to the receiver and get in front of the db for a user catch

A trick to better passing is to step up in the pocket

It probably goes against everything you've ever done in previous football games but if you step up when the DE's beat your tackles, you'll usually have a second or two to find your reciever

I recruited this 95 speed WR in my first offseason (named Earl Simmons lol) and the motherfucker catches everything. Beck to Simmons is like Manning to Harrison for me now.

I am learning a lot about not throwing it into double coverage either. I have a lot of INTs too, but I think it just takes a little bit of practice.

also pump fakes can be invaluable in getting just enough separation from a safety...i think its left bumper (might be right bumper cant remember)...turn to the right, pump fake, safety bites a step or two, receiver on the left is (more) open

ha, has nothing to do with winning, just cant stand unrealistic shit. I quit before the 4th down conversion. If they go for it, I call a time out to make sure they just didnt notice what down it was, but if they still line up on offense fuck that. I dont care about winning or losing, just want it to be as realistic as possible. For example, when I use Tennessee; there have been plenty of times when the option play would have worked great, but Tennessee does not use the option with Ainge, so I dont use the gimmick bullshit.

once you reach first string, additional practice is just superfluous

^be running at the pylon and dive, or be running in the middle of the field NOT sprinting and dive at about the 2. If you sprint the game will think you're trying to elude defenders and you'll do a regular dive.

Okay wtf, I signed three 4-star RBs for my dynasty and converted the biggest/strongest one to FB. He only lost 4 pts to his overall rating, but his speed has been permenantly lowered from 82 to 68.

i got a couple titles and bowl wins in campus legend and didnt get the achievement then started a new campus legend and won and got the achievements...fuck if i know...ive had some other times where the left click doesnt save shit anymore and i have to manually save by going to My NCAA 08 and Dynasty Setup

I'm in season 2. Went 7-6 in my first w/ a loss in the Emerald Bowl to UCLA.

Got a 86 overall HB that was a 5 * ATH to replace Brown who went pro... though I only got 2 5*'s...

So far this year I'm 3-0 but right now UNC is giving me all I can handle since my frosh HB has fumbled twice in the first half...

i was up 24-21 at duke in year 2 when the game took over, literally.

i was in the i-form slot formation running slants (arguably the best play) and as soon as i pressed x the computer throws it right into the hands of an outside linebacker, who manages to break three tackles and puts the devils up.

#4 NC State just pummeled #3 UCLA

Finally had my first game where my QB had 4+ passing TD's(5-Star freshman with 89 speed). Really under-estimate the WR talent in season 1, I red-shirted my 5-star WR I got thinking the plethora of WR's we have would be able to pick-up some slack after losing Dunlap and Blackman, but wow do they drop some passes.
