Yeah, I have the option of Palmer vs. Baltimore, or Romo vs. the Giants.

Vicent Jackson vs. the Bears

or

Santonio Holmes vs. a lesser defense than the Bears (can't remember, not going to look it up).

Who to start?? I'm leaning towards Holmes because I don't see SD putting up huge stats and I already have LT in that game.

seconded.

you already have the 2nd option as a reciever on the Chargers in LT (Gates is #1), so why go with the #3 as well when you could have a solid #2 in Holmes, mang.

Only one I would even THINK about changing would be Marshall for Horn only because he is a #1 on his team but I would wait to see how things play out in Atl. with Harrington. Marshawn will be splitting carries with A-train and no matter how bad the Browns may be, Lewis will get the carries.

I am about to attempt to trade some of my RB's for a QB. My QB's as of now are Pennington, Grossman, and Garrard. Looking at trading for Kitna or Cutler. Who should I go after and which one of my QB's(if any) should I maybe look to give back up?

You're starting the right people out of who you got

However, for this week I'd consider not playing Rivers vs the Bears D. I'd play Garcia over him or look at the FA pool and see if anyone like Lienhart or Delhomme is available. Both are less valuable for the season, but I think they have more potential for points this week.

^^lol no league would allow double dipping like that.

Every week people would stack up on MNF players and rack up the points.

Alright, I need to start two RB's this week. Who do I go with?

Frank Gore vs. Ari
Rudi Johnson vs Bal
Travis Henry vs Buf
Jamal Lewis vs Pit
Adrian Peterson vs Atl

I'm thinking Gore and Henry, since Rudi has to deal with a pretty stout Baltimore defense.

Oh yeah, I had another thing with my WR.

Should I have Randy Moss start or should I switch up with Javon Walker? I already have Chad Johnson and Hines Ward starting. I know Moss is nursing an injury but I don't know how it might effect his play.

[Edited on September 6, 2007 at 7:25 PM. Reason : WR]

Good choice, just monitor Henry's health up till gameday, and plug Rudi in if Travis' knee is giving him problems.

I know it's incredibly early (in the opening game and more importantly, the season), but I could easily see Addai being a 2000+ yard rusher this season.

Maybe 2000 total...he won't get enough attempts and the colts throw a lot of RB passes

Something like 1500/600 rushing receiving

already been touched on, but this is why I am here....

Glenn to miss at least two games

Cowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn has had a setback with his right knee and will miss at least two games, if not more. Glenn underwent surgery on August 1 to have a cyst removed from the back of the knee and returned to practice this week. He experienced swelling following Wednesday's practice, and the current issue is not believed to be related to the surgery. Agent Jimmy Gould tells the Dallas Morning News that Glenn will seek several opinions before deciding on the next move. Patrick Crayton will start in his place, and Sam Hurd will move up to the No. 3 receiver role.

Glenn is no stranger to injury, and the alarming insinuation here is that his swelling is due to some extra damage. Fantasy owners in deeper leagues should jump all over Crayton, just in case Glenn is out for a long period. Crayton is in a contract year and showed flashes of potential last year.

Pick him up if you can!!!

I could easily see him as a 1500-1600 yard rusher

Although right after the first play of the game, fantasy owners everywhere were saying "omg did i waste a top 5 pick on that guy who just got half of his ribs broken?" but then he came back and had a solid game

^^yeah but 2000 has happened 5 times in nfl history, and at the 4.8 ypc he averaged last year, he would need to set a new nfl record for most carries in a season to get to 2000.

Plus he isn't going to get to play the Saints every week

ok everyone, to clear up the confusion...I do not see Addai easily breaking 2000 yards, I said:

Quote :
"I could easily see Addai being a 2000+ yard rusher this season."

meaning that he is the kind of back, on the kind of team, and in a system that could produce a 2000 yard rusher if everything goes well.

I am a football purist and I realize how tough this feat is. But when all aspects of the Colts' offense is clicking, suprisingly enough, it's the running game that benefits the most.

I DO NOT THINK HE CAN EASILY DO THIS!
