the massive increase in depth alone will net us serious increase in performance this year.

When you start a walk on for much of the season, and still finish the way we did, that says a lot about the remaining players we have this year, not to mention the immediate impact freshmen.

Losing atsur sucks, but it's not like we'll have Gavin running the point again...

i will too....and i hope we're going to have a great season. im just skeptical of even being ranked at this point in the game. preseason rankings in basketball do nothing but inflate fan egos.

I agree... preseason rankings don't mean much, so it's not worth worrying about either way.

I wouldn't really call us overrated though (ok, maybe we are overrated by Gavin Grant). We're picked to finish third win what will be one of the weakest years the ACC has seen in a while.

well i knew espnu's production trucks were pretty low grade (hence the low quality) but it looks like their titles and stuff that pops up on screen can't even do the animation stuff that you see with their new theme, which might be a good or bad thing

and do they REALLY have to have the yellow bars for timeouts for basketball? it's not nearly as important in basketball as it is in football, those 5 bars are gay

there are 117 division 1a football teams

app state is division 1, its just 1aa. They are clearly better than at least the bottom 17 1a teams. So lets just say app state is a top 100 team.

Well there are over 300 division 1 mens basketball teams...
barton is division 2. theres a big difference between 1aa and flatout division 2.

Most of top high school teams would wipe the floor with any division 2 team.

In regards to Davidson hosting UNC at the Bobcats Arena, Stephen Curry hurt one of his wrist while lifting weights. He still put in 13 pts against Lenoir-Rhyne tonight in their exhibition game. Hopefully his wrist will heal up enough to drop around 25 points against the Heels and lead them to an upset over #1 UNC. Oh how sweet that would be.
