...figures some homo would publish that shit. We're no worse than anywhere else in the country. I sat in the Wake student section for the FSU game and I was embarassed for their student body at some of the stuff I heard.

AT UVA they have "The Good Ole Song" which is to the tune of Auld Lang Syne

But in all honesty we aren't the only school like that. UVA students for a long time yelled "Where all is bright and NOT GAY" when they sang "The Good Ole Song". I think the word gay has come to mean multiple things. Sure it can be used in a hurtful way, but there are a lot of people that will say "Oh that's gay", perhaps when describing something that's not even sexual. It could be a movie that sucked or was just plain stupid. I'd be lying if I said I never used the word gay in that way, but I am not a homophobe. I have known and been good friends with some gay people. Heck I know a gay guy that loves football, tailgating and raising hell at games. I think I even remember him chanting U-V-Gay at the 2003 Virginia game.

ha, well the technician will publish just about anything in the campus forum. There's quite a few that I've just sat and thought what the fuck were they thinking when they put it in there.

Its calling attention to NC State where no attention should be. The big point is that this shit happens EVERYWHERE. I swear I went to the Wake game the other day expecting their students to be pretty classy but the shit they were yelling didnt even have to do with football and it was worse than some of the crap I heard for 4 years in the student section. I missed 2 games in 4 years and it was as bad as the worst stuff I've seen at state.... and EVERYONE in there had airplane bottles, not just some people.


Its amazing how friggin sensitive people are about stupid shit like this. I can think of stuff to yell thats a LOT worse than "UV GAY". Stupid hippy.
