This is the 6th time I've been to Pocono and they have had that same guy singing God Bless America and the National Anthem every time. He has a killer molestache. The people up here think this place is Churchill Downs or something. They have even added Steeples to the top of the suites on teh frontstretch.

^^it was kinda an asshole move too because you could see him lagging back and taking off before the guys in front of him to get a run. passing on the outside before the start/finish line is fine on restarts, but not on the initial start, so maybe he forgot or something.

i was glad to see him go a lap down though

That was by far the highlight of the race for me. Everyone in the stands went wild when that happened.

On a related note, I've come to realize that Kyle Busch fans whine and cry more than Kyle does. A couple of their fans even bitched at the race about how many cautions there were.

there's actually a [slight] chance we may get the cup race in. I think all qualifying and the nationwide race will be a wash, but the rain is supposed to let up late tomorrow afternoon. If that happens, there's an outside chance we'll get it in. It is just starting to sprinkle up here right now.
