Oddly enough it's my arms that feel the most tired. I probably didn't isolate well enough for my first time but I can feel something going on back there. I think my arms are tired because it's all push-ups and pull-ups mostly.

I'm excited about seeing this P90X. The girl invited me over to test it out on Friday. She wants to see if I can make it all the way through 2 of her workouts since I do S&C or lift every day at the gym. I honestly don't see it being too different from an S&C workout.

It's not too bad if you're used to working out. I did the plyometrics dvd and it was pretty similar to what I do in athletic conditioning classes.

i agree with Kirk. i was scared to start doing P90X but because i've been working out for a long time it wasn't too bad. but it was nice to have different exercises to follow along with. i'm terrible when it comes to weight training so this forces me to do it.

Like I have said all along, P90X workouts are not really very hard. It's keeping up with them day in and day out for 90 days and refusing to skip an exercise, along with controlling your diet that is the challenge.

I finished a week ago, and am taking a two-week break in before starting it again.

I'm gonna cut the weight sessions in half but up the reps and/or weights.

It's made a huge difference whenever I play any sports... I get tired out a LOOOTT slower now.

Is it weird that I found the Plyometrics easier than the chest & back from yesterday?

a little, but it could just be that you're in decent shape now.

I had packed on a few lbs before I started, so plyo kicked my ass. It still does actually, I'm always sweating like a whore in church after i do the workout.

Oh, I was sweating buckets to be sure but the jumps, lunges and balance stuff was right up my ally. My difficulties at this stage actually come from the upper body stuff that I am sure will get better over time. Tonight is arms & shoulders and I will report back. Today is supposed to be hell day from what folks have said on here.

I did shoulders and arms yesterday... I pushed hard, but I'm not even sore from it today... either didn't push hard enough or maybe I'm beyond soreness now...

Back and biceps yesterday.

A little sore from it, plyo, and Monday's workout.

What do you mean legs?

There's the Plyometrics (jump training) workout or the Legs & Back workout.

Just a note, you shouldn't do plyo and ab ripper in the same workout. None of the P90x workout plans have you do that.

I'm tryin this new shake that I drink after my workouts. I've noticed this week that even though I still work the body hard during the workout, I'm not as sore with the new drink as previous times.

its Nitro-Tech hardcore proseries. tastes like ass like every other drink I've used though

So knowing that day 3 is hell day I wanted to pace myself doing arms & shoulders so I may have used too light of weight. I'll know for sure tomorrow depending on how sore I am when I wake up.

3 and 4 are usually hell days because if you arent used to working out plyo generally will make it where you have trouble even walking by day 4 haha

^,^^ so true. I am really feeling the plyo now. I thought it was just a one day thing. I wonder how well I am going to perform the yoga this evening considering I have never done yoga before. I'll report back.

Do the x-stretch if you can't do the yoga.

And then spend 30 minutes grooming your vagina.

Seriously, you might not be able to do all the moves perfect, but you should attempt them all and then see your improvement. Substituting X-Stretch for Yoga is like walking through the mall in lieu of a marathon.

DO THE YOGA!!!! DO IT!!!

ALL of my soreness from the past three days, with the exception of a slight bit in my quads, is gone! Wow. That was amazing. Now I am pumped about the legs and whatever it is tomorrow.

Ordered mine Saturday

I might do the resistance band instead of getting a pull up bar (due to money and layout of my new apartment)... Don't I need a hook for it or something?

I've been told that you can double knot the band in the middle and close it in the top of your door.

The bands should come with what you need to do pullups.

on the last week of the first time around. definitely got some results without doing the diet. cheated here and there a few times on the workouts, but only because of time conflicts with an extremely busy schedule. Gonna do the lean option this next time around. Not dropping all the fat I want to.

Yeah, I've done X-stretch maybe twice. It's pretty worthless in my opinion. You get all the stretching you basically need from the warm-ups. I've substituted yoga a handful of times, but only because I can't take 2 hours to fucking do it. When I substitute, it's with plyo or cardio.

^^Yeah, the bands I got come with them. I got Spri from Amazon though. They're probably cheaper than the BeachBody ones and are a well-known company.
