think he had at least 2 1/2 tackles and i think it might've been him that ran the miami return down on that long return that was called back

Bradley Pierson was playing like a hungry wolf out there.

His tackles were awesome and then he pins them at like the 2 on a great punt.

Plus 2 of his kickoffs were almost recovered for onside kicks.

That was DeAndre Morgan that ran down the Miami return man on the long return that was called back. Supposedly Pierson is the second fastest player on the team after DeAndre and runs a 4.24 40. Of course I'd take Graham in the 100 over all of them.

^Pierson was right on the returner's heels, but he fell/tripped over himself right at the end. Morgan ended up with the tackle.

"I'm a BC undergrad who experienced the heartbreak this shmuck gave our school. BC had the opportunity to go to the BCS many times under him, only to choke to inferior talent (1999, 2001, 2002, Syracuse in 2004, North Carolina in 2005, and NC State and a poor Miami team in 2006). I can speak from experience that he is inflexible, stubborn, coaches based on "favorites" and utilizes assistants that are incompetent in their jobs. When he left BC, almost EVERY member of the BC football program celebrated his departure, ESPECIALLY the AD. Hell, there were even pics on Facebook showing the players celebrating when Tom O'Blunders left for NC State. HE IS NOT A GOOD COACH, and the only reason why BC did well under him is because the BC culture lures players who are overachievers. Also, BC, under Blunders, won those bowls against sub-par competition, save for Georgia in 2002. I, as many Cane fans, should be fortunate that HE ISN'T Miami's coach.

I hope next year we win the Atlantic and BC ends up last in the division. I'm beginning to hate them more than Maryland, which I know is pretty damn hard to do.

VT please beat BC next week.

Someone photoshop out Russell in pic #28 and create a Russell Wilson for Heisman photo. It may be hard though with the Miami players arm in the way.

Great video. Dre is a trip!! "Woopppp wooooppp woooopppp!" "We're going bowling! We're going bowling!"

And in those N&O pics, I was almost in like 3 of them. They got a few shots of plays that happened right in front of me, and then the "fan shot" was of a few guys RIGHT beside me, but a row up. Wow.

I was sad when Herb left, but I did know that our rebounding sucked. I back Lowe a hundred percent and don't denigrate Herb as a person like BC fans do with TOB. Most State fans are appreciative of Herb getting us back to the NCAA tournament. You can't say the same about most BC fans in regards to TOB. Also State basketball has a great deal more history than BC football, so you can't compare the two fanbases' expectations equally. We've been at the pinnacle of basketball multiple times, BC has not been at the pinnacle of football (the NCAA does not recognize BC's claimed 1940 national championship).

Boring football? It's not like we are playing the triple option or Woody Hayes' "three yards and a cloud of dust".

the triple option is terrible, as far as excitement... as good as georgia tech has been this year, i am so happy we do not have that man as our coach

LOL that got a rise out of several of you....look in the mirror when fussing about other schools.

We treated Herb exactly like they did TOB.....

And yes TOB is probably the most boring and conservative coach in the ACC.

I would say TOB might not have a super creative coaching style, but it doesn't translate onto the field as boring like Herb's did on the basketball court. It probably has a lot to do with Russell Wilson being such a beast, but watching a balanced offense that performs well is never a boring thing.

Nothing to me, he plays conservative and smart football and he wins doing so.

Many say he is boring because he is not flashy, charismatic, runs no trick plays, etc.

who gives a shit about trick plays...

boring means 2-3 a carry then a 5 yard 3rd down completion

we have had huge passing plays,,, several dropped by spencer
big 10-15 yard run/screen plays
russell running loose for 20 yards

i could care less about trick plays... this offense is very fun to watch, oh and they score points

^ Agreed. Althought trick plays are fun to watch, I rather see an organized reserved offense that gets first downs and scores.

Shout aloud to the men who will play the game to win
We're behind you, keep fighting for State---
Hold that line, hold 'em fast,
We'll reach victory at last
We're behind you, keep fighting for State---
Rise up to the fray and let your colors wave,
Shout out for dear old N.C. State;--GO STATE!
And where-e'er we go,
we'll let the whole world know,
We're behind you, keep fighting for State.

ahhha this boring argument is rediculous.

and since when is 6-6 considered winning games?

delusional?

anyway, this team found its stride, just too late to matter. hopefully we can replace Andre when he's gone, cause the dude is beast.
