washington is probable. where does he fit in the line up? greene still needs touches since he seems like the most dynamic in the backfield. haynes is the starter and has more yards and more ypc than greene but really hasn't wowed me.

I disagree. I like it. IIRC, the Western game cartoon had similar positions and it turned out ok. I think changing the cartoon would result in far greater bad mojo than sticking with marko's instincts. I trust his judgement and creative license.

Bud Foster is getting interviewed right now on 99.9FM (the David Glenn show) and he just said that he really wouldve liked to have been offered the NC State head coaching job back when we fired Amato. Pretty high praise from a respected and great coach

i also heard bud foster on 99.9... very classy had a lot of great things to say about the offense. of course all coaches go on and say "yea i respect them and we really need to be ready blah blah" and its usually a bullshit "whatever" kind of tone... but if you heard him too he was just spot on and you could really sense sincerity.. im impressed, but we still have to beat your ass bud

he broke down and picked apart every piece of our offense rather than the usual "yea russell is playing great, they have a great line, great receivers, impressive backs blah blah we have to be ready"

im just saying... we are getting true fear shown in our opponents now

this. i'm worried about second half adjustments he'll make. i feel like we have enough weapons on offense to where if they clamp down on the passing game, for instance, greene can light 'em up. i feel like the o-line is gonna have to have a really good game to keep wilson on his feet though.

Yeah, I'm worried for Russell in this game. Not his performance, I'm confident he'll do well. I do think that they'll pressure him consistently and he'll take some shots even if he gets rid of the ball. I also could see him getting sacked 6-7 times if the O-line doesn't extremely well.

^^^^well yeh, getting respect is step 1. this guy is an adjusting genius and knows how to shut most stuff down.

sounds like they will be extra ready to 'make/break' their season. this is huge for them too.
