Jason Heyward seems like a nice player. Mets should trade for him. Not sure how much power he has with only 1 HR since April 29 though.

Adam Jones is one of the O's best young players and under control for two more years after this one. I mean it's pretty similar. They got him in the Bedard deal a few years back.

He's finally putting it together this year with a 120 OPS+. He's not going to be traded for at least two years and probably will get a longterm deal shortly that buys out his first few FA years.

and the Orioles arent one bat away from potentially winning their pennant and they aren't loaded with minor league/young talent to trade away for that bat. The Braves getting rid of a hitter when they need a good hitter would be stupid.

The Orioles are a small-ish market team. It's a stupid business decision to trade someone like him. Those are the types you build around, not deal.

Maybe Brian Roberts (if he wasn't sucking ass) or someone else expensive is a guy they'd dump.

Best place to get Bravos tickets? My brother-in-law is a big Cubs fan and we were trying to catch a game of the series between the two in Atlanta in August. Last year I got some off of Stubhub, but I want to make sure thats the best place. I know there are some on here that go to alot more games than I do. Pre-Thanks for anyones help

last game i went to was vs the Cardinals in 2007, i bought those tix online (braves site, will call)

they weren't bad $wise, we were in the 'lexus' zone


but you could always just scalp them outside, i doubt they are sold out so it's not like people are gonna be givin you the heisman for offering less than face

Good hitter, good defense, hits lefties OK, led the league in SB three straight years (has more steals than the entire Braves team right now). Plus he's pretty cheap and is still arbitration-eligible.

I'd rather dump Lowe, not that the Astros would want him, and I'd think that McLouth or Schafer (probably Schafer) would be included in any deal for an outfielder

Look at a couple ways: 1. Chipper is having the better of two shitty seasons compared to Jeter and 2. Chipper has had a better individual career than Jeter (because really this is about their careers and not this season).

Also Jeter is a starter over Cabrera, who's having a massively better season than Jeter. Chipper's just a reserve. Who's he keeping off the team? A guy like Aramis Ramirez deserves it more than Chipper, but who cares about Aramis Ramirez.
