Is it me or is the bitching about our defense a little bit retarded right now? The last 2 games I actually came away thinking we had a few lapses but we're actually playing better D now than we have in like 5 years. We're forcing bad shots, causing deflections, and weathering the runs of the other team. I specifically remember one possession last night for GM where we forced 3 terrible shots and stripped a ball in the lane but the shots were so bad that the long rebounds went straight to GM and the strip was so powerful brown couldn't control it. GM still scored there but thats not bad D, just bad luck. We're young and we're going to have lapses, now isn't the time to bitch about it.


On another note, Javi and Howell need to stop reaching in and committing retarded fouls 50 feet from the basket. Although....it got Harrow in the game quicker so whatever.

Yeah team defense looks good. In fact we are playing team ball better than we ever have under Sid which is cool considering we play 3 new guys a ton. The area that needs work, might be exposed against GTown is boxing out and rebounding.

Jesus a win over them tomorrow would be such a perfect week.

Not in a classical sense, even if the crowd is more NC State than anything. Also, they have a big experience advantage, especially with Smith out.

have you seen zo brown playing on this team? he is the missing piece we have needed for so long. harrow is already contributing, sure he has work to do, but when they are on, it's a beautiful thing. Leslie is a damn good player to have in the frontcourt in Tracy's absence, he'll adjust and be just fine.

we lose tracy, it hurts, but it certainly isn't the death knell that it would have been last year.
