yeah, I'm having a hard time in 1v1 moments too. It may be a slower reaction, but i always feel like i put 10-12 shots in someones gut before they fire, yet i'm dead in 2 hits.

Same here, and I've been 4 bar almost every game. I'll see four or five hit markers on bad dude but only see myself get hit once.

Also the shotguns are terrible

yeah, i'm finding myself getting killed from behind almost too often. I feel like I do a pretty good job of clearing a room or at least knowing my path was clear behind me if i come up on someone. But there are a bunch of times i'll come through a corridor and kill an enemy at the end of it and before having a chance to move on i'm shot in the back from someone who was nowhere around 5 seconds before.

Also the spawns are really, really bad, especially on Mission (I think?). Every killcam on that map I see the guy spawn in.

Game is campers paradise at the moment. You die entirely too fast, like they just gave everyone stopping power. I wish they would have left stopping power as a perk.

The ACR and MK are money. There are a few things that I wish they'd stolen from Black Ops, but overall I'm thoroughly enjoying MW3. I'm still waiting to find my Nuketown/Firing Range map that stands out above the rest.

ugh, why does it take me an entire clip to kill someone!?

is it lag within the game or on my end? I feel like i'm either unloading a clip into someone and they get a shot off and i die instantly (not headshot) or i see someone and am able to duck out of the way before getting hit yet the kill cam shows me getting lit up before getting around the corner.

it's so frustrating.

what gun are you using? the type 95 only needs one well aimed burst; ACR needs 3-4 body shots; MK 2 chest or one to the head takes care of things. i have noticed that just holding down the trigger doesn't pay off (saw this in black ops too). the rest you mention is just lag. you get a token by prestiging (AFAIK), or having prestiged in the old games.

I concur with the m16 being ass. Its "stats" look pretty good, but it fucking blows in game. I switched over to the L86 LSW light machine gun and got much better results (only took a couple bullets to get a kill vs. emptying an entire clip with the m16). Sucks that I spent so much time building up my m16 hoping it would pan out.

Well I'm rusty as hell and die a lot, but it's a lot of fun to get back into the game

I like most of the MP levels, except Dome can get pretty frustrating with all the camping spots. A lot of Jeepin's frustrations from my experience don't seem that much different than the other games, I'm doing about as bad as always in 1v1 standoffs and running mindlessly into firefights.

Single player seems a bit frantic and way more over-the-top than the previous games, but about as fun as usual.
