^^Not that great. With Shenahanigans, can you ever really trust Alfred Morris enough to actually play him?

Benjarvus Green Ellis versus Cleveland (15.73 points projected by yahoo) or Frank Gore versus Detroit (8.98 points projected by yahoo)

I think that's definitely a toss-up, but I might give the edge to Green-Ellis since he's not in a potential time share situation.

Stevie Johnson vs. KC or Danny Amendola vs. Washington?

I'd go Stevie Johnson.

Thoughts on these?

Flex (0.25 PPR, 0.5 pts/10 return yds): Antonio Brown (v NYJ), Nate Burleson (@SF), Donald Brown (v MIN)

WR (0.5 PPR): Pierre Garcon (@ STL) or Dwayne Bowe (@ BUF)

I know it's early, but does anyone think I should start RGIII (@STL) over Eli (v TB)? For now, I'm sticking with Eli...but I was just wondering what others thought about RGIII's value after week 1.

Brown, Bowe, and Eli (for now). If you had a shakier starting QB it might be easier to throw RGIII in there now, but I would give it another week or two, Eli shouldn't cost you too many points against the Bucs.

PPR league, we start 2 RBs and a flex position.

My RBs are:

Fred Jackson
Michael Turner
Darren Sproles
David Wilson

Would you guys drop DAvid Wilson for Rashard Mendenhall? $1 per pickup.

AJ Green is going to be a top receiver at some point but is he Megatron level, no. Vincent Jackson should be the #1 WR in Tampa at some point as well but right now, their offense isn't potent enough. I'd say no to the trade. Who are your other receivers?

depends on who you would need to drop for him, but I'm not super high on any of the Raider receivers

Pick my QB:

Vick vs. Baltimore
Flacco @ Philly

Then pick my RB2 (if Ryan Mathews doesnt start):

Deangelo vs NO
Mendenhall vs NYJ
Dwyer vs. NYJ

yuck

I would go Flacco. He looked good on Monday and the Ravens defense looked scary as well. Vick, meanwhile, threw 4 ints. Of course...you'll probably go with Flacco and Vick will rebound like a mother fucker.

What a shitty stable of running backs to pick from. Go with Dwyer I guess.

Why do you have two PIT RB's? As bad as DeAngelo was last week I'd still go with him over either one of the PIT RB's. And I just don't trust Mathews to stay healthy so I'd be afraid to start him even if he is cleared to play this week.

@DROD Flacco, but you already know that. Vick is going to get punished by Baltimore's defense. If Cleveland's D gave him trouble, Baltimore is going to be rough. Dwyer for your RB. I have zero faith in Carolina's running game right now after that first game.

@akaseinfeld
you are set at WR, don't change a thing

Pick 2(1-point PPR):

M. Colston @ CAR
A. Brown vs NYJ
R. Cobb vs. CHI

Normally I'd roll Colston and Brown, but if Jennings doesn't go then could mean more receptions for Cobb. But Brown should be on Cromartie most of the night with Wallace drawing Revis.

well I have Shady McCoy, Ryan Mathews as my top two RBs, then I drafted Deangelo, Mendenhall, David Wilson and Ryan Williams as speculative picks. I started Deangelo last week and he burned me, Mendenhall is still hurt and David Wilson is barely still on my roster. So I dropped Ryan Williams for Dwyer since he got a vote of confidence from Tomlin this week. I'll drop either him or Wilson once Mendenhall gets healthy

and that is my thought process

Guy in my league wants to trade me Spiller or Ridley, and he's looking at Harvin from my side. I can work out the specifics with the players, but I just wanted to see what everyone's opinion of Spiller and Ridley are. I don't like Spiller because Jackson will come back in 3-6 weeks, and I don't know if I can trust Ridley to be a feature back because Belicheck hates feature backs (Hasn't had a top 10 back since Dillion in 04)

Thoughts?

I like both actually. Not sure who else will get carries in NE (Vereen? Woodhead?) & the Cards matchup this week makes him a great play. Should get plenty of carries through the season, especially with NE's weak schedule.

I'd say at worst Spiller will split carries with Jackson when he comes back, if at all. The timeline on him coming back isn't official, it could be longer than just the 4-6 weeks. With Spiller also getting catches, it makes him a lot more valuable in PPR leagues. Plus, he is an explosive player that can break for long runs/YAC.

I'd take Spiller, then Ridley, but it's pretty close to me. In PPR, I think Spiller is a no brainer, but in standard leagues it might be closer to even.

Pick 2: any combination is OK

Ogletree, Cobb, Ashlon Jeffery, McGahee, Benson, Hayward-Bey

Right now I'm in a league with formations, my team formations are 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE, 3 RB 1 WR 1 TE or 1 RB 3 WR 1 TE

Studs that are definitely in are Ray Rice and Andre Johnson, my TE is Gronk

I'm thinking Dallas will stick with what works and at least try the Ogletree experiment out again and he'll get his chance, Jennings is looking like he'll play and GB's secondary sucks and will be focused on Marshall anyway so I'm leaning towards Ashlon Jeffery and Ogletree.

Thoughts?

little help on filling my flex spot this week?

either rashaad jennings, the number 2 guy for jacksonville, or james jones, WR for green bay.

I think i'm going with jones, because another one of GB's starters is hurt.

Definitely fair, though I give to slight edge to whoever gets the Cowboys. Besides, only assholes veto any trade that isn't obvious collusion.

jennings didn't do shit in week 1 when he should have gotten the bulk of the work after the MJD lockout. He isn't gonna get any meaningful points again unless MJD gets hurt. At least Jones has some upside.

Totally spazzed out during one of my drafts, and didn't pay attention really during week 1 (honeymoon)....but I am looking at the following for the rest of the year:

RB Ray Rice
RB Green - Ellis
WR AJ Green
WR Torrey Smith

I am not sure exactly if that is a good thing, especially since Green-Ellis and Green have 3 games against the steelers and Ravens left, and Rice and Smith have 4 games against the Bengals and Steelers. Should I try to unload either Green-Ellis, or Torrey Smith?

Move Green-Ellis, he has the lowest ceiling.

I'm looking for Randall Cobb to ball out tonight. Playing him over Stevie Johnson. I'll probably regret it, but I'll regret it more if he does well and I don't play him. Besides, I always opt for the guy in TV games if its close.

^ I share a team with my wife's father, 10 team 2 QB, PPR. Winner of league gets share of pot, but another caveat is you pay each team in the league above you .10 for every point they scored more than you during the year....$1 per transactions, etc....first time ever doing a league like this. Scored 75 pts last week (Fred Jackson of course) easily 50 pts less than anyone else in the league.

But Cobb was our waiver wire pick this week, and I am really hoping he comes up big.
