Already downloaded SimCity 4 the other day lol I guess i'll get BF3 or that MOH game. Apparently there are some awesome mod packs for SimCity 4. I'll try and find them when I get a chance.

For the most part yes im done playing a lot of ea sports now that im off the pc and realize its never gonna happen. We cant even have one good release.

My job is busy during the day and there's so many girls here I just dont have a lot of time to waste on video games anymore.

But every time I look at this site there's a million people saying where is eman. Draws me back haha

I will still probably play civilization and GTA though because they are great.

the game plays much cleaner with the traffic fix.

if they tweak the path finding alogrith for the agents to avoid the swarm mentality, things will be pretty good.

inadvertantly, i think this reduces some swarm tendancies, but not enough.

^^^^^Or you can be like some of us patience gamers and wait for all that $DLC to drop and then wait for a GOTY version AKA the full game and then buy that. That is what I did for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Spent far less and got less fucked on early adopter problems like we've seen with Simcity.

But those were full games that weren't buggy and had tons of content. The DLC was actually extra shit that I could actually understand not fitting on the same disc and more importantly not being so manditory that the original game was not worth $60. Besides the whole point of Fallout 3 and NV is the pc modding community.

transportation is taken out of the game. logistics are marginalized in this game. planning city sectors like a warehouse district, urban area, suburban area are all marginalized because you can't really isolate part of the city in such a small city. SC4 is way better. Most people mean for its time when they say comments like that. SC2000 was the best game for its time but SC4 is literally still better than this game if it came out today.

The region idea was a cool concept, but it would have been cooler if they made it to where you could expand your city borders for more land... you get to the point of where you start to grow so big that you start to annex other towns and cities near you into your city; effectively "buying them out". Then you grow so large that you dominate the entire region by yourself...

That's what I had envisioned what SC 2013 was going to be.

it looks like the regions already have the larger connections built in this game. part of the fun of simcity4 was designing individual cities AND how they were connected.
