Since no one reads last post... It really doesn't matter what angle we look at it... There were two guys on the field dressed in black and white stripes that were in position to make the call. One of them was 15 yards in front of the runner and the other was 15 yards behind the runner. One had a direct view of the runners feet and was looking at them while the other one was having to try to look around two players. The one with the direct view called it a touchdown while the one who's view was a blocked call it out of bounds. That is my issue with it.

Freeze the deadspin video at :59 and tell me which ref (if any) should have called him OOB

We are allowed to be bitter because we got screwed out of what was a really entertaining game. We wouldve had a chance, and frankly up until that point I would have given state the slightest of edges even though you know Clemson is going to turn it up at some point.

What a dumb thought. A pick six was called back on phantom time out and there was a 14 point call made that swung the scoreboard and the momentum in our oppositions favor. That was so blatant and obvious that the more I watch it the more I think he should be tossed off the team. Did they ever announce a punishment for that?

Also he was probably lucky only one other guy seemed to have seen it. Had most of the team saw that happen I can only assume there would have been a rumble.

My understanding (which I haven't backed up with research) is that an ejection results in an automatic 1-game suspension. I believe the 1/2-game suspension is the punishment that Dabo levied on the player who did the throat slash motion after their last touchdown. That one was at his discretion, not technically required.
