LSU was a glorified street ball team. They look great when they're out running, but when it got late and they were forced to actually run offense in the half court they were clueless.

I think 3 of them actually all ran into each other at one point iirc.

Yeah, in the first half and start of the 2nd, we didn't look like we could defend to save our season.

But down the stretch, not sure if we played lockdown defense or that LSU shot badly, I remember them missing a lot of uncontested layups/jumpers.

If you re-watch the Anya game winner, you can tell almost immediately after the ball leaves his hands, before both his feet are even back on the court, that he starts running towards the rim anticipating needing to get an offensive rebound.

I've seen some people complain that Anya travelled. When I look at it, appears as though the shot is so awkward because he was actually being sure to avoid moving his pivot foot. At the proper angle, you can maybe see he takes a little hop with his pivot (right) foot right before jumping for the shot. No way to get it in real time though, if they could call that microscopic level of travel, then every other possession would be a turnover for every team.
