So many injuries this year, team hasn't had a chance to create much chemistry with players in and out.

Also, lol Coughlin getting tackled. Most men his age wouldn't be able to get up from that.

I was always a fan of Tommy Lasorda's fall at the 2001 all-star game:

have they been doing this "time to next Eagles play" clock the whole season? kinda unimpressive when it's been at like 28 seconds every time i've paid attention

First time I have seen it. The Eagles need more offense, not more offensive plays.

Honey Badger torn ACL, out for the rest of the season

Looks like all the INTs will have to come from Peterson and Powers

If he gets injured, then he'll be on 1 year guaranteed deal next season for a hefty price, so no, they'd start a random guy off the street before him

Gronkowski currently promotes Monster energy drinks, Mobile Strike, Capital One, Draft Kings, Nike, Six Star Nutrition, JetBlue, and Gronk Fitness.

With a straight face and everything.

I had no idea he promoted Mobile Strike. I only heard of that app because one of the greatest thespians of our generation brought his suave Austrian accent and cool dialogue to the game. I would never download it, but if he does have new audio clips in the game, I'd check out a soundboard.

Even if they lose, I've got some good news:

You can buy a pair of Gronk Fitness thong underwear for the low, low price of just $21.09.

Interception...you're good!

^I forgot that the playoffs are not a straight bracket. I was thinking that we (Skins) would play the panthers if we next week. But if Seattle beats the Vikings, they will play Panthers.

Sucks for Carolina if they draw the Seahawks in two weeks. Seattle is peaking at the right time and getting Lynch back. Should be a hell of a game if it happens.

I think Seattle wins. But the Panthers beat a team 38-0 then a couple weeks later lost to that same team. So who knows. These things rarely play out as chalk.

[Edited on January 5, 2016 at 9:41 PM. Reason : although I guess Seattle isn't chalk since they're a WC team]

I was just thinking back to earlier in the season when I was feeling underwhelmed by the Seahawks and assumed they wouldn't make the playoffs after 2 straight SB appearances. That made the late-season run feel more spectacular than I think it actually was. If you look at their record vs this year's playoff teams:

@ Packers, L
@ Bengals, L
vs Panthers L
vs Cardinals L
vs Steelers W
@ Vikings W
@ Cardinals W

3-4 isn't impressive, but the fact that the last 3 were wins is a bigger sign of how much they've improved. But the loss to the Rams at home week 16 makes them just not seem very intimidating. I guess that what I'm saying is I have no idea what to expect from them.

Eh, that team has been totally different since midway through the season, much like KC and the Patriots last year(remember how everyone thought Brady was done after the KC ass-whooping?).

Playoffs are all about momentum and what team is "hot" going into the playoffs(over the last several years the Giants and Steelers have been examples of this). Hard to find any teams hotter over the last 10 games than the Seahawks(8-2, both losses by one possession), the Chiefs(10-0), or the Panthers(9-1).

Think the thing that is interesting though, in these 10 games, are the quality of teams they beat.
Seattle -
KC - 2 playoff teams: Pitt and Denver. Peyton Manning playing hurt and throwing 4 picks before finally being benched, and Pitt without Big Ben.
SEA - 3 playoff teams: Pitt, Minny, Arizona. Pitt and Arizona were healthy, Minny missing their best 3 defensive players.
CAR - 2 playoff teams: GB and WAS. Both healthy teams, both convincing wins.

Not saying it means we're hotter or anything like that, but I think part of KC's run is "fool's gold."

If Seattle is really relying on Wilson to throw it 20+ times in 0 degree weather with -20 windchill...they're going to have a really hard time winning that game.

This is going to be defense vs. defense and who turns the ball over more. This game might end 10-7.

Have to discard the previous Seattle/Minny game, no Rawls for Seattle and Minny has their 3 best defensive players back. I mean you have C. Michael vs. 75% healthy AP. The only reason to watch is to see how sad the fans look in the stands as they're trying not to freeze to death.

Apparently the Vikings have been sitting on the visitor side of the field all season because it's in the sun and the home side is in the shade. Think they estimate it feels like 10+ degrees colder on that side of the field.

the Vikings scored exactly zero points on offense last time they played

and Peterson had 18 yards

I expect a similar performance tomorrow
