LOL! Where did you hear that? I doubt our coach takes a step down to a G5 school. He called NCSU a destination job when he was hired. He likes living in NC because he likes fishing.

For those who don't already know. Jaybee is just trolling and has been on the DD to Memphis troll for the long haul. He's not going to let up anytime soon.

Speaking of coaching changes, I read that Butch Jones will be talking to VT this winter, whose AD was at Cincy during Butch's time there

na, no one would leave the SEC for the ACC by choice and he wont be fired.

yeah, Derek Mason wouldn't voluntarily accept the HC job at Florida State.

you used to be somewhat objective, what happened?

On a potentially related note, Lane Kiffin will reportedly look to get another HC gig after this season

Tennessee has been a stepping stone school for a while now. If you can move up to a better program in the ACC, you jump.

Also, don't think Fuentes would go to Skerlina. He's better than that shithole job.

^^ so someone would leave Florida for Wake Forest? lol

^ I wouldnt say stepping stone unless you are saying Kiffin alone represents everyone. I cant even remember the last coach that voluntarily left to go to another school aside from him. And there are no programs (which means the all time program, not just the current team) in the ACC remotely close to Tenn and Bama

Maybe Bama, the lone good team in the SEC this year, will finally make the championship game of the playoff for the first time in conference history

are they even .500 ?

^^ maybe!

^ of course, and 5th or 6th most wins if I remember correctly, and that's with the last decade of mostly shit thrown in. They've won 2 less bowl games than State has played in, and that's with your Chuck Glory Days LOL

speaking of Chuck, if Doeren is gone to Memphis, why not bring back Chuck? The man could recruit his balls off in South Florida which is THE key to State

while we're on the topic of coaching carousel, when Butch eventually takes a step up to somewhere like a Big Ten school, you think Fullmer would come back? He got a raw deal. Plus he's the only person to win anything in the last 50 years. The only man at least.

wow, State is a lot worse than I thought now that I am looking lol... they have never even ended the season ranked in the top 10??? and you are bitching about there only being one of several national championships lately? lol. Even discussing this is silly.

Back to the matter at hand, Miles or Chuck, which one if both are interested. I would take Miles in a heartbeat.

changing subjects here. I read that Tee Martin is being considered for TU-Knoxville offensive coordinator. he has 10+ years of coaching experience, currently at USC

Do you dress and talk like it's still the late 90s? Or just live in a sports fantasy world from that era?

Jaybee playing the role of the guy who brings up all time record immediately after they lose a game

na, him and Butch dont get along after Tee talked shit about Hurd

^ I'm not the one that used the term "program" which means all time program. I freely admitted we have been shit over the last decade. Dont argue just because you are butt hurt, I didnt start it. I mean, I wouldnt want to look at program either if my best was #11 in freaking 1974 lol, but I wasnt the one that brought it up.

well, 1. I didnt make it up and 2. a discussion about Doeren is a discussion about NC State, how is that not relevant to this?

I swear you people are seriously like "I didnt like what he said about State, let me think of some stupid thing to say about Tennessee to get back at him!" like you are 12

That's what makes the Butch to VT rumor more fun to discuss, b/c that one actually yields results on Google

UNC and Clemson are both within 2-3 hours of Charlotte. Pretty easy sell there.

This would be a legit return of it even though they have proven over the last few seasons they got past that.

Pretty shocking to see but I think they'll win.

Is ESPN's website still messed up for anybody else? The scoreboard is showing the potential SEC Champion with only 2 points against an ACC school? Someone in the IT department should be fired.

Fun stat of the day... Out of the four teams most likely to get into the college football playoffs (Bama, Oklahoma, Clemson, and Iowa), Tennessee has played three of them in the last 13 games and went 1-2 with a +5 point differential.

College Football Playoffs - Who is in???

Clemson (12-0) & Iowa (12-0) are the only undefeated teams left, so they have to be in for now

1 Loss Teams (I put them in order of who I think will get in):
Alabama (L vs Ole Miss (8-3) by 6)
Michigan St. (L at Nebraska (5-6) by 1)
Oklahoma (L at Texas (4-6) by 7)
Ohio State (L vs Michigan St (10-1) by 3)
North Carolina (L vs South Carolina (3-8) by 4)
Houston (L at UConn (6-5) by 3)

2 Loss Teams to consider:
Florida (if they beat Alabama in SEC championship)
Stanford (if they beat USC in Pac-12 championship)
Notre Dame (if Iowa beats MSU, Bama beats UF, USC beats Stanford, Clemson beats UNC, and prey that a 2-loss ND looks better than a 1-loss Oklahoma & OSU)
