Incredible match that. The 4-4 gave me a nice chuckle for a bit. Pool and arsenal youngsters were up for it and looked brilliant.
Rashford free kick
Chelsea looked decent. I am surprised Ole went with a bit more experience. Likely the pressure and needing to get a big away win. 3 away on the trot and martial back. some winnable matches next so hoping this builds confidence. 10/30/2019 8:29:01 PM |

HOLY SHIT!!! just got done watching the replay without spoilers but what a game! Milner and Gomez had some howlers and the game would have been over 20 min earlier with VAR (which is good), but amazing strikes by Ox, Origi and Millock. Insane! 10/30/2019 10:28:14 PM |

So after decades of complaining about how united are lucky to shit house wins what's the feeling now? Create your own luck like united used to or still complaining? 11/3/2019 3:57:36 PM |

Wait what are you referring to? Yesterday's Liverpool game? What about that was luck? Mane alone had more shots then the entire Villa team and Firmino had a goal disallowed by an inch.
AVL LIV Adjusted goals 1.1 2.1 Shot-based xG 0.9 3.0 Non-shot xG 0.7 2.7
Weve had plenty of lucky games this year, not yesterday though.

VAR is awful and needs to be scrapped until they can come up with a better system. There is no reason Mike Dean should be screwing up games he is not even the Ref for. 11/4/2019 7:55:10 AM |

How soon we forget...
2018-2019
2013-14
Quote : | "Manchester City beat Liverpool to title
A run of 11 successive wins had given the Reds a five-point lead at the top of the table as recently as 20 April in their quest for a first league title since 1990 in the same year as the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
But they picked up only one point in their two games prior to Sunday, both setbacks coming in remarkable fashion.
First, a slip by captain Steven Gerrard put Chelsea on the way to a 2-0 win at Anfield, then, Brendan Rodgers's side surrendered a 3-0 lead at Crystal Palace, drawing 3-3 to hand City the advantage." |

Hey good point we were up 9 on Spurs and held them off, but only up 7 on City and didn't hold them off, so 8 pts on Leicester is still dangerous! 11/10/2019 5:52:10 PM |

And yet I bet I sit here and am forced to watch Unai Emery get outshot 18-3 at home to Norwich until 2020.

Jose back in the league baby. He is probably going to kill it with Spurs though. That team has a solid spine in Toby, Vertognen, Ndombele, eriksen, Kane. A players like Dele, Son and Kane are going to go through brick walls for Jose.
This may actually be a great move for them. And of course we play them soon haha. Meme galore no matter who wins but I can't see Jose losing that. 11/19/2019 11:46:51 PM |
Wolfey All American 2680 Posts user info edit post |
So will Levy open up the pocketbook for Jose? Can't imagine he will, how will Jose react to that?
Harry Redknapp said on Talk Sport they should go bring Bale back in the transfer window, that would be an interesting front 3, but they would probably have to sell Eriksen to get it done. 11/20/2019 8:13:31 AM |

I think he will win them something in the next 1.5 years. The league may be out of reach given City/Pool but I would be surprised if he didn't get them to finish top 4 (ahead of Chelsea or Leicester) and win an FA cup with an outside chance at the CL. 11/20/2019 1:39:34 PM |

ok calm down. Pochettino is a good coach so they arent going from Moyes to Mourinho here.
It all depends on what happens with the personnel moves. Who leaves, who they can get, how much to spend, etc. Mourinho is a weird choice especially right after how poorly he handled a "rebuilding" with Utd 11/20/2019 2:09:35 PM |
wazza31 All American 2433 Posts user info edit post |
Poch lost the dressing room, doesn't matter how good of a coach you are once that happens. This Tottenham team reminds me a lot of the inter team that Mou took over. It has quality in all positions.
Poch isn't a bad manager but Mourinho is a top 3 manager, even after his "failed" stints. The dude is a serial winner and will bring trophies. Always has and will deliver in the short term. 11/20/2019 2:30:10 PM |

Not that easy for us. It would require Ed Woodward to say he was wrong, again. I also don't think Ole deserves the sack and this has nothing to do with him being a legend. Ole is actually trying to change from the rot and put together an identity. He has us playing pretty decent football with some bad results intermixed. I realize that for the knee jerk outsiders its great meme material but I do think Ole can succeed at United if he is fully backed. I have loved his three signings and how he envisions we move forward. Ole also has the best record against the top 6 since he was hired. We need to start playing better against teams in the bottom half, not the top. 11/20/2019 2:49:09 PM |
Dynasty2004 Bawls 5857 Posts user info edit post |
Ole gets the sack if you dont get CL right? or if you miss out on Europa? 11/20/2019 2:58:09 PM |
wazza31 All American 2433 Posts user info edit post |
Probably. For me it depends on if there is improvement or not. Who knows what Ed and the board are thinking though. For example if Ole finishes 6th but we show marked improvement in our style, our youngsters show improvement then I hope he continues. Would also need a decent FA cup and Europa showing. Ole would do well to win the Carbao Cup and Europa.
We can wait for Poch at the moment but Arsenal, Real, PSG, City and even Barca may be looking for new managers by the summer. I don't see Bayern getting Poch as they seem to want to wait for ETH.
If Ole is so far off the mark come boxing day and results are sure we definitely should get Poch but we have some massive matches in December so Ole will get his chance.
