Yeah taking Butler to back to back NCAA tournaments is not experience. He was an assistant for years under Thad Matta and Todd Lickliter who both have gone on to big jobs. He's got background. I just threw a name out there.

Herb was winning 20 games a year and finishing 2-5th in the ACC....not exactly something you fire someone over.

Sidney can't make the NIT and hasn't finished better than tied for 9th.

Herb Sendek left to take the job at Arizona State on April 1, 2006.

Sidney Lowe then took that team to a 5-11 ACC finish, beat Duke, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and lost to UNC in the ACC tournament. Then went to the NIT tournament where we beat Drexel at their place, Marist at Reynolds, and then lost to West Virginia on a banked in three.

Herb got a raise and has a new program in the NCAAs, he's fine, its us that I care about. I can honestly say that I have watched less than 5 ASU games since he has been there. And I know that Lee Fowler has noticed the attendance this year and if it continues to fall and we lose money, the big guys are not going to be happy. Things need to improve really quickly for Sid.
