Couple of articles on Tony Adams posted on PI forums. Seems like he has been turning heads and various combines/camps. Not sure where he'll end up ranked based on this(I'd say 3* at best), but not sure how I feel about him committing to the first big school to really offer him. One of the articles posted said he was favoring UNC at the time, but was hearing from UNC, NC State, and South Carolina.

We have 10 commits from NC coming in this year. in 2012 we had 7. 2011 we had 8. 2010 we had 5.

I like that the new staff is focusing on Charlotte.

Yea, I'm a little out of touch with high school football in North Carolina, but I know years ago when I was paying attention to it, Charlotte was a pretty big hot bed for talent. I hope that's still the case and we're making some inroads with teams/players in that area.

Its my understanding that most of the good football in the state is in that 85 corridor there. Lot of good players coming out of Charlotte. Usually at least one really good team in Gboro. Winston and High Point have occasional good players. Thomasville and Lexington where powerhouses for years but I think they've dropped off a bit.

^wow. That is one big-ass safety ... not sure I've ever seen a 6'4 safety. Even Adrian Wilson (who was HUGE) was only 6'3.

Not sure he'll have the speed/agility to play safety in college, but he could be an awesome center-fielder type of DB. If not, he could be a monster at OLB.
