So if I went from the parking lot with the deck - across the bridge and around back to the start of the bridge, that's 2.75 or 3.5?

I hate meeting clients on monday late afternoon/evening. Meh, I'll probably swim or something since I'll already be there.

Doc says tendonitis in my elbow.

Guess I'll be going low impact and low weight for the next couple of weeks. Maybe some swimming and biking.

It only bugs me because I was within 2 or 3 weeks of my goals for the winter.

drank a half-gallon of iced green tea (with lemon juice and honey), ate two clementines (fruit, not women), and limited myself to 2 samoas and 2 thin mints

decrease your intensity on cardio, but i wouldn't cut it out

think walking up hills instead of sprinting for miles

Pescetarian diet. No caffeine whatsoever. No refined sugars. Lots of veggies and fish.

And red wine is my cheat food. Unless I'm on a boat. Then it's clear liquor.

lunak, I always called that one dancer's pose (natarajasana). I've also seen it called lord of the dance and king dancer pose

bow pose (dhanurasana) is prone with both feet up - so your body looks like an archer's bow

so I guess that could be standing bow pose (dandayamana dhanurasana)

I had a soccer game last night at 10:30pm. I scored 3 goals. Well, the third was a shot that deflected off an opposing player, which was arguably considered an own goal.

I had this PM in my Inbox this morning:

Hey do you play league soccer at NetSports? My team had a game last night and the team we played had a guy named Matt who I think looked like you."

I sent the PM, we played against God's team last night (and lost, yet again )

Yeah that guy scored 2 goals for you guys. The second one that you scored was just bad luck, he just happened to be standing in the way of a rebound. So goes indoor soccer...

Those 10:30 games are brutal. I have to wake up the next day and get my daughter ready for school and make it in to work in RTP before 9am. If you guys are playing in the spring league we are signing up for Monday nights again so maybe we can have a rematch.

Does anyone have a good cardio workout that you can do on a foot with a stress fracture? I don't have money for a gym so the low impact machines are out, and it's too cold to swim right now.

Swimming would be the best option, but of course you'd have to pay to use an indoor pool, such as at a YMCA. Perhaps a stationary bike?

4mi run

what sucks abotu living on top of a hill is that every run i take, the last 1/3 of a mile sucks fucking cock

however, i ran to the highest point in the county today, and felt well doing so

good pace, felt good

the route i took today started out with that 1/3 mile downhill, but then a 800 ft climb in the next mile, which sucked. ahah

kinda cheated on the fact that the rest of the run was a gradual decline until the last 1/3.

either way, kinda concerned about my first half being 10 weeks away

only doing like 15 miles a week at this point
