All my muscles hurt from cutting our ~.5 acre yesterday with a push mower when it hadn't been cut in 3 weeks! And now I am on a cleaning spree Saturday I cleaned out the frig and I mean really cleaned it out...everything came out and I took shelves out and washed them, etc... and then the good stuff went back in and the crap went in the trash So far today I have cleaned my entire kitchen...even the floor under the drawer in the stove! All my bare wood has been mopped and I will vacuum as soon as my daughter wakes up from her nap My kitchen is so clean you could eat on any surface including the floor if ya wanted too

well right now ours is an ugly purple with test paint spots of yellow on the wall and horrible broken blue blinds that are mounted incorrectly on the window. the girl that lived there mounted them ON the window frame instead of inside it...aiyiyiyi.

the room itself has a bed, makeshift bookshelf of cinder blocks and 2X4s, two surfboards mounted on the wall, two computers sitting on the floor (in use, we're networked to them b/c we're big dorks), a collection of art supplies in the corner, a box of various cords and wires and other electronic devices, a large rubbermaid container full of CDs, and one disorganized closet.

the guest bathroom has a bath mat and show curtain. the walls have been striped of wall paper and the mirror and socket coverings have been removed. i have also unhinged the door. the border and ceiling is taped off and ready to have the primer FINISHED b/c i only did up to the wall where i could reach b/c i didn't have a ladder...

SO...going to the flea market on sunday i found an AWESOME dresser that will fulfill two needs--it will go with the beach theme i plan on for the room, and it will serve as a storage space for all of my art supplies. HA...wishful thinking. I should just pay someone to do the painting and so I can get it over with and get onto the part I enjoy--decorating!

OH! and I also planned on repainting the master bath and half-bath downstairs...but i can't even finish this project (started in FEBRUARY). yeah...i really just want to pay someone.

2nd OH! And I also planned on painting all the trim work in the house and doors so they look fresh...SEE, i should just pay someone. It'd be done in a WEEK if I did...*sigh*
