I finally kicked my cigarette habit. I was never a heavy smoker (got up to a half pack a day) but when I would get drunk I'd definitely want one. I always regretted it because it smelled bad and made me feel like shit, at least by the morning. Cigarettes are gross! (I don't hate on people that smoke though, it's just not for me)

I just got back to my apartment after a one-month absence

and there is this big old Brita water dispenser full of Kool-Aid that I always keep in the refrigerator, which I forgot to empty before I left

so I got back, and not only was this Brita tank all moldy, but there was a little creature of some sort swimming around in the Kool-Aid...I mean it was unmistakably a living creature. I wonder what it was, 'cuz I don't think insects can swim

anyway, needless to say I have thrown away Mr. Brita Tank

i keep losing a little of mine (or at least shutting off parts of it) as my life goes on...


i also have to confess that I have been really rotten to some people over the last few years...some that don't even know it and have been nothing but nice to me and don't deserve it...

i'm doing my best to correct that...

but sometimes it's too late to take back what you've said/done...and in those cases i guess i just have to live with it
