Ok we get it. You have a realist outlook to the recent commits. Cool, thanks for your opinion. But just like everyone else that is excited about it, its just an opinion. None of it matters. So how about you stop forcing your view point on everyone, express your opinion and let it go. Unless you can predict the future and can guarantee that these players will not pan out, then your opinion means as much as anyone else. So let the people get excited about something. And if their excitement leads to disappointment, then its their fault. Let them bitch and then they will get over it.

you do realize this all started with me responding to SOMEONE ELSE that pointed out we aren't any farther ahead than the TOB days right? Then spydyrwyr made a comment directed to me, so I responded. Then armorfrsleep made a derogatory comment towards me, so I responded. Is this not a discussion board? I have not yet quoted someone and bashed them for being excited have I? I posted my "realist opinion" once and got bashed for it so I posted my reasons why and now all the sudden I'm forcing my viewpoint on everyone? Not sure I see that

Doeren & Co. got 12 recruits for 2013 class and so far 19 for 2014 (not counting any transfers). I'd say he's gotten the ball rolling or sure.

Justin Jones' junior highlights are impressive....dude sheds blocks and makes plays in the backfield at a high level. He's playing DT in a 4-3 but looks like he could easily play DE with his speed and agility, the guards at his level look helpless.

Jones will likely be a pass-rushing DT unless we whiff on Street and Williams at DE. We're REALLY thin at DE, so not sure where these hybrid guys end up, but a DL class of Jones, Street, and Williams would be a great start to an impressive DL in a couple of years.

Seems like this kid came in and athletically impressed our coaches enough to get an offer. Some of the combine #'s the kid has put up in the past were impressive and then he came in and beat those numbers with an impressive 40 time.

Not saying this kid is some "diamond in the rough" TOB kid, but I do think our coaches are focused on increasing athleticism on the team. Perhaps they feel confident that they can either develop him into a change of pace back or even as a WR/CB.

Haha esp. since Brandon Barnes senior year stats were terrible and the kid wasn't even starting at RB in high school, you should know that he wasn't going to be a 5* RB when he came here. Problem is that kid could have been a heck of a S but he wanted to play RB and he just wasn't that good at RB. Kid was a 5* ATH that was probably a 4-5* S but was probably a 2-3* RB.
