In all seriousness, you cant expect to win every game you play. I mean NC State is having a great year already and they are bound to have a bad game or two. And, playing in the ACC, if you have a bad game more than likely the other team is gonna take advantage of it.

It sucks to lose to GT but do not forget how well the season is going overall.

You know, just because Gav didn't "cost us the game" doesn't make him any less of a dumbshit.

Had we won again in overtime, we definately would have stolen one today. We played like shit and deserved to lose, but that still doesn't excuse Gav for fucking up one of the most fundamental situations in basketball. Every middle school baller in america knows that when time is running down you have to take the shot. Because no matter how low percentage that shot may be, it still gives you a better chance of winning the game than letting time run out because you're afraid to miss.

I was just starting to like Gav a little bit, despite how miserable he was to start the season. But now I see that he's just a dumbshit, and if we put the ball in his hands at the end of games he will continue to fuck up. He's back to the top of my shitlist, move over Ilian.

i want Ced and Brackman out there at the same time, b/c i want the big bodies out there for rebounding and a strong post game. i've only seen a few times were they are on the floor together. play Ced as center, and Brackman as a power forward (not this hybrid center/power forward stuff).

I said it before and I will continue to say it until something changes.... ACC officials are worth a good 10 points for any NC State opponent.

That doesn't take away from the fact that NC State didn't shoot well...but I feel very strongly that something needs to be done about the officials and their bosses. John Swofford sits back and laughs because ultimately it is his decision to change the way officials are evaluated, and he does nothing. He is a heel, and he probably smiles each time he sees a bad call on anyone other than his beloved alma mater. Something needs to change, and very soon.

His problem is that he has no confidence. I think it's more that he was trying to get the ball to a more "reliable" shooter rather than shoot it himself. I bet he didn't wanna take the blame for the loss in the situation that he's the one who would have fucked the shot up royally.

Instead he's to blame for the loss for not understanding they were under time constraints.

I'm not talking conspiracy. Conspiracy means that there is a cover-up. John Swofford doesn't hide his allegiance. I'm saying that there is widespread disfunction in the officiating, and it seems just a little worse when the Red and White are on the floor. My point is that the problems with officiating go further than just on the court. Believe it or not, John Clougherty isn't the only one that is responsible for the officiating. Swofford bears some responsibility as well, and he has done nothing.

NO CONSPIRACY. JUST BAD OFFICIATING AND ADMINISTRATING.

Hey, if liberals can blame Bush for everything under the sun...State fans should be able to blame Swofford for the bad officiating in the ACC. He is, after all, at the top.
