Wow I am kind of a NBA prophet this week I guessed all of All Star Saturday's winner's correct and anticipated this Felton ownage of Paul. I should have known Paul would try to start a fight as well given his attitude and history. 2/21/2007 2:09:50 AM |

I hate chris paul..
Felton's numbers went up along with his mpg. His percentages are down (except FT)
Ray really needs another scorer on the team, so he can act as a playmaker. I love watching the bobcats when ray gets to push the tempo. 2/21/2007 2:58:40 AM |

the only thing Primoz says is,
"when is the next time i can get hurt?"
"why cant i ever hit an open jumper?"
"why am i so tall, i play like im 5'11''?"
and
"why dont they go ahead and trade me ,BK, and Carroll for someone like Ray Allen?"

bringing Ray Allen here would be a thing of beauty
i made it work as well
we have some interesting players to offer, they want to suck and move the team
it seems like a good deal to me, expiring contracts for them, dumping some cap dollars
only downside, giving up probably the best pure shooter in the game since Reggie left 2/21/2007 11:27:11 AM |

well, IF we can get a Ray Allen or a Michael Redd or somebody, get rid of Carroll, sure...my perspective was more the "ok we're gonna cut either kapono or carroll and keep the other...lets cut kapono...keep carroll as an outside shooter" 2/21/2007 3:27:42 PM |

1 more point and 4 more assists in six extra minutes is hardly "ownage."
On the season, Paul is averaging more points, rebounds, assists, and steals, with fewer turnovers, all in fewer minutes.
I can't stand the guy, but he's better than Felton. 2/21/2007 8:31:13 PM |

No I think you meant he's hyped more than Felton. When Felton is starting at PG he is better. Paul takes his team out of the game because he likes to go one on one and then pass it if that doesn't work. Felton is looking to pass or score equally whatever serves his team best. Paul gets a lot of assists but if you watch him you can tell he is a me first player.2/21/2007 8:33:00 PM |

Can't deny his effectiveness.

Compare his line to Felton's. The stats indicate that Paul makes his team significantly more productive, regardless of his style. 2/21/2007 8:38:32 PM |

Morrison was apparently in can't-miss-mode during the second half. He ended up with 26 points on 10-19 shooting after going 0-5 in the first half. Crazyness.
Didn't watch the game, but I saw him hit an impossible fadeaway on the highlights. It was actually one of the prettiest and one of the ugliest shots I've ever seen in my life, if that makes sense. 2/22/2007 12:59:27 AM |

i think the timberwolves will never win a title...not only did we make a huge 2nd half comeback and win, but in a game vs. minnesota in charlotte a year or two back we were up like 5 with about 5 minutes left and won by about 20
^yeah i was there and i agree...the most important stat of their two lines is felton got the win...plus felton was the one of the two who made plays down the stretch...i think paul had 4 or 5 of his 7 assists in the 1st half

interesting opinion on Raymond
Quote : | "2006-07 outlook: Felton should build on his strong finish and establish himself as a quality starting point guard in Year 2, but there's one little problem: Brevin Knight. Until the Bobcats make a trade, Felton might have to be content to play off the ball half the game, much as he did when Knight was healthy last season.
It's no accident that Felton's best play came after Knight went on the shelf. Felton is poorly adapted to the shooting guard spot because he's a mediocre shooter, so it would be in the Bobcats' interests to deal Knight and clear the runway for Felton to take off. That also would help defensively -- at 6-1, 198, Felton is hardly suited for defending big guards. However, Charlotte might not make its move until the trade deadline, which could mean another slow start for Felton.
Most similar at age: Jay Williams" |

well I guess we are looking at him after all
Quote : | "Rian (San Francisco): Any insight on the Sonics current state? Are they trying to cut salary? If so, are Ray Allen or Rashard Lewis going anywhere? Could you see an Allen to Utah, Fisher to Cleveland, with both teams throwing a bunch of contracts in their last year back to Seattle? Helps all three teams, no?
SportsNation Chad Ford: (12:31 PM ET ) I think the Sonics should be more active than they've been. I've been told they've been reluctant to do the deal while they are negotiating a new arena in Seattle. They don't want to appear like they're slashing payroll at the same time they're asking tax payers to pony up for an arena. With that said, given their pretty weak arena proposal we all think they're moving to Oklahoma City anyway ... so let's drop the illusion and start working on the team. I think not trading Lewis will be one of the biggest mistakes of the trade deadline. I bet they lose him for nothing this summer. The free agent class isn't great and lots of teams, headlined by the Bobcats and Magic, will make a strong run for him. " |
Id be ok with him
Quote : | "Charlie (Austin, TX): Would you take a run at VC if you were the BobCats?
SportsNation Chad Ford: (12:48 PM ET ) Probably not. Vince is 30 and I don't think the Bobcats are making a deep run in the next 3 years. I think Rashard Lewis is a more logical guy to make a run at. He's younger, cheaper and a better fit with Gerald Wallace than Carter is. However, once again, it seems like the Bobcats have hit the snooze button on the trade deadline. " |
