I hope UVA wins the ACC Regular Season. If BC or VT wins then we have to hear from their fans about how they're taking over the conference in just their second or third year in the league. The fact of the matter is the ACC, besides Carolina, is good but not great. It's definitely one of the toughest leagues with tough teams, but their is not really any outstanding teams like in years past where you'd have three or four teams always ranked in the top 25. The only outstanding team is Carolina, and they've shown to be suspect at times.

Yeah I mean we've got tough teams this year, but not really any outstanding teams this year. Besides Carolina not many teams really have shown this year that they could definitely make a deep run in the NCAA tournament. The Big XII has two really good teams this year in Kansas and Texas A&M, and a capable one in Texas. The Big East has Marquette, Georgetown, and Pitt that when playing well look like top 5 teams. The Big Ten has Wisconsin and Ohio State. When I look at some of the top 2-4 teams in most of the major conferences I see complete teams that could definitely make the Final Four. Carolina is the only team from the ACC that anyone thinks could make it that far, and many are now predicting that they will stumble if they reach it to the elite eight. Virginia has two outstanding guards, but if you shut them down, you've basically given them no hope to win. Reynolds and Singletary really do carry that team. BC is too up and down and are vunerable down low with the loss of Sean Williams. VaTech is a decent team, but I definitely see them getting upset early on in the tournament. They are probably going to go no further than the Sweet Sixteen, if not bow out in the Second Round. Duke is playing with some fire again, but who knows when they'll have a slump again.

If Fairyland gets to Sunday in Tampa or the Sweet Sixteen then you can brag...unbelieveable free throw performance from Gist and Ibekwe down the stretch that they couldn't duplicate if their lives depended on it. Don't braf about a team that's 8-6 in conference, there are a lot of other teams that are 8-6 in equal or better conferences this season.

They fucking rushed the court. Last time I checked Syracuse was a great program and probably better historically (although not by much) than Georgetown. I mean I know that G'Town was a Top 10 team, but it's not like the Cuse is a slouch this year either. They're a decent team. Didn't really seem court rush worthy. There is too much court rushing nowadays. It used to be something really special, deserved only for beating amazing, almost unstoppable type teams, now not so much.
