I'm betting you hit "A" twice in a row to hike the ball. I've done that by accident a few times and it snaps the ball and passes immediately to the tight end, resulting in a incompletion or pick.

haha I went 12-1 with Ball State my first season; only loss to Arkansas 22-20; and when I got to the MAC conference title game it was against Bowling Green who at the time was 12-0 and like #4 in the BCS haha; then I beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl to take my prestige from 1 star to 2 stars...and with 2 stars I was able to convince #1 USC to play me in the first game of the next season, IN MUNCIE INDIANA @ BALL STATE...and beat them btw

I'm stuck between Heisman and AA.

On Heisman, even teams worse than me give me a challenge, and it's impossible for me to beat a team better than me.

On AA, I rarely lose, even if I play a better team.

Using the sliders posted before.

Anyone got any good AA slider for realistic numbers and play?

Is recruiting affected by difficulty level at all?

you can pretty much schedule whoever you want...I wasn't surprised that USC played me...I was surprised that a shit ass program like Ball State was able to get USC to come to their place to play them...usually a 6* program like USC would make a 2* program like Ball State come out to California

Me neither. But on the other side, I'm personally not good enough to play on Heisman. I lose an unrealistic amount.

illinois is fun to play with. fast QB, damn good freshman WR and a good RB. they have some of the top Freshmen in the country. i think other than the WR... one is a DE and one's a LB. both studs.

last years game, AA was easy as hell, i was beating teams easily 80somehting to 7....i just went straight to heisman this year and its challenging so far. mostly because i still dont know how to defend the pass, and even on def awareness and interceptions at 0 for the cpu, they still pick me off more than they should(and i certainly know how to pass from playing this game so many years)...

i guess this is good so i dont run up the score, but it makes my qb's have horrible stats

every other year heisman has been too easy for me. this year i can't tackle or defend the pass without safety help.

Does anybody get defenders to kind of walk past the rusher? In the backfield one play I had 3 guys around the runner and one got stiff armed and the other 2 just kind of stopped. he went on to do a few spins and take it 70 yards.

INTs seem a little too frequent with default sliders and spin/juke moves seem a little too effective...and maybe i suck but i like playing on AA right now...i dont blow out many teams and some of the games come down to the wire...but like i said once i get more than a few 2 and 3 star recruits at Ball State i will turn up to heisman even though i'll probably go 9-3 most years on heisman with a tough schedule...course i think the only reason top notch recruits would even sign with Ball State is if they were like "yo man Ball State...thats ballin right?"

i played my first online game tonight and put up over 50 points. i won by 20 some and gave up 25 points in the 4th quarter screwing around. my opponent went for EVERY fourth down and played with ok state since they have a fast qb...still crushed him though.

I think each platform has its own unique glitches. For the PS2 version, I'm having a hell of a time keeping recruits in Dynasty Mode. I recruited a 5-star CB (in the post-season recruiting, not in-season), and since I can't see the Player Promises screen until the season starts, I lost him after 1 season. What the hell kind of CB weighing 185 pounds asks a coach to promise him he'll get the C position? Why wasn't I asked about this in the recruiting screen? I've lost at least 4 great recruits to things like this now.

speaking of glitches, anybody on the 360 version during recruiting, while you're looking at your board you switch positions and the position name switches but the players dont? its easy enough to hit left trigger and go up one position and then back one and it seems to fix it, but im wondering if its just my copy or a 360 glitch

i was playing Miami on my season the other day and it was one of those games where not a god damn thing was falling your way and you'd get a touchdown and they would call you for holding... anyway, i had been fighting Miami (who was just average) and finally scored two quick touchdowns in the last quarter to take a 4 point lead with 30 seconds left.

Then those motherfuckers returned the kickoff for a touchdown.

It took everything in me not to break the fucking controller. I get really competitive playing that game, especially when it feels like my team is playing very far below their level, which seems to have been happening the last few games.

I got my guys back down to the 4 yard line after that returned kickoff... only to be tackled as time expired. *sigh*
