I'm predicting that Parkman and Nathan are gonna be the ones to die. Although I like Parkman's character and don't want him to die, I think that he is getting to the point where he is too powerful. All Mohinder has to do is call Parkman and get him back to Molly and he can do all kinds of shit to Sylar's head.

Nathan on the other hand really hasn't done much of anything this season, so him getting killed wouldn't really do much except drive Peter further down the path to the dark side and siding with Adam against the company, especially if Mohinder has something to do with Nathan's potential death.

Also one thing I want to point out about the impending fight between Hiro and Peter and how Peter is immune to Hiro's time freeze... Hiro can also teleport and travel through time freely. Peter still hasn't really figured out how to control it, so as of now Hiro is infinitely faster than Peter. If he really wanted to, he could just teleport right behind him and go super slice and dice. Perhaps this is how Peter somehow gets that scar on his face?

I could potentially see Molly being one of the people being killed (by Sylar), although highly unlikely, it would definitely cause Mohinder and Parkman to go apeshit.

why? It seems like they've been developing them for the past few weeks, it would be easier to just make up side plots for them until the writers start working again

They'd prepared to end the season early in the event the strike happened. At which point, you can get rid of the constant Nikki/Micah filler (which is all they've ever been) and the South American tear brigade, while focusing on characters people don't mind watching.

^^ Originally it was going to be split like this anyways. The only reason they are calling it a finale and reshot the final episode is so it would be a stand-alone episode and not be dependent on an episode coming up in the new year if the strike didn't end. They made it so if it were to end, it would still transition into the next chapter which is supposed to start sometime next year.

finally saw the new episode. why didn't new orleans chick go martial arts apeshit on them thugs? i wish she had started a fight and a stray bullet shot micah.

i don't know if they were implying anything when they said 2 heroes will fall, but when they said it there were 5 or 6 pictures on the screen. and they seemed the most likely to die. i think they were parkman, adam, claire, elle, nathan, and maybe one more. i say elle, nathan, and adam are the most likely to go. but who knows. this could really save the show if they throw a big twist and kill someone major. i would say nikki but if they kill her off they kill the only connection to the "exciting" world of micah and new orleans chick.

The concept of bandwagon here is ludicrous. There's tons of shit vying for our attention in the world, especially on the boob tube, so don't sling this bullshit concept of loyalty. It's not the viewers fault that Heroes sucks ass this season.

Hell, I was a huge Buffy fan, and even after 5 seasons of "loyal" watching I was unable to force myself to sit through every episode of the aberration known as Season 6. If Heroes jumps the shark after one season, fuck it.

They also are ending this stretch of 11 episodes (called the Generations arc) because they have heard a lot of disappointment from the fans about the second season so far. They want to be able to start more fresh whenever they get to start working again.
